About the host—Robert Vingi moved to the South Carolina Lowcountry in 1994. In the course of thirty years, Robert and his wife raised their three now-adult children between Charleston and Kiawah Island. Robert has a passion for history and special interest in recording the unique perspectives and stories of individuals who shaped the area’s beloved landscape.
