Ontario Baseball Plays In Regional Tournament Thursday vs St. Mary’s In BG The Ontario Warriors baseball team won the district championship last week after a 3-9 start to the season. Coach Mike Ellis spoke with WMAN about their incredible run here in the post season. Ontario (14-14) will take on St. Mary’s Memorial,Thursday at 2 pm, in the Division II Regional Semi-Final in Bowling Green.

Denny Hempfield, Parade Marshall for the Mansfield Veterans parades, shared the details of Monday's parade downtown, which begins at 10:30 am at the 5 way light. Also, there is a need of volunteers to place flags on the graves of veterans on Saturday.

The Mansfield Highway Patrol stopped at the WMAN studio this week to remind drivers about the busy roads expected for the long Memorial Day weekend. Sgt. Mike Smith shared about a 100 day stretch in the summer, where they also see an increase in traffic crashes and fatal crashes.

Lexington Boys Tennis coach, Ron Schaub, spent the morning talking about another state tournament appearance for the Minutemen. Schaub is in his 27th year as the coach at Lex, which has saw the program reach the state tournament in 25 of the 27 years. Lexington will be in action on Thursday, Friday and play in the team tourney on Sunday at Ohio State in Columbus.

Jennifer Kime, CEO of Downtown Mansfield, Inc, shared the details of the Final Friday Concert Series, which begins on May 26th and runs through the last Friday in September. Kime reveals how they search and select the 15 acts, who perform at the Brickyard. The Concert Series has really grown, now in the 16th year, and the reason to to draw people downtown.

Mike Smith, from the Mansfield Post of the Highway Patrol, spent time with WMAN recently to share some of the things they are currently working on with department. Dickerson, who is from Butler and went to Clear Fork, explains his role in the K-9 unit and what he does on a day to day basis.
