On election day, things come to a head. 

Jeff and Steve try to talk things out. Tensions over mailboxes run high in Templeton, and Steve stands up to Tina. 

Steve doesn't show up for work, and Jeff's attempts to replace him don't work out very well. Jeff gets a very intriguing offer. 

Protests over mailboxes get a bit out of hand. Jeff and Steve discuss the consequences. Jeff learns that things can go from bad to worse. 

As Steve’s campaign goes from strength to strength, Marjorie encroaches on Jeff’s space, while Tina’s violent rhetoric manages to divide the town further.

As Steve steps in something good at his first campaign rally, Jeff faces the hard truth about his marriage. Meanwhile, Tina unveils a terrifying new slogan.

Steve applies for a job, and Jeff is surprised. There is a Mayoral debate. Tina makes a big announcement, and something surprising happens towards the end. It is inconclusive what any of this means.
