What does it mean to be in the knowledge of God? Are we growing in our relationship with God? What have we added to our faith?

Can you remember when you felt cared for? How we have been treated by others tends to shape how we view God. God has expressed his care for us throughout scripture and ultimately made it know in the sending of His Son, Jesus.

What are you holding fast to? Peter had a change of heart, what happened to change how he viewed suffering? What we are are anchored in will determine where we end up.

What brings glory to God? Are our actions bringing glory to God? Are we living with urgency? Our time is short, are we living to glorify God?

Do you understand you are in a battle? What is your role in the fight? How do you arm yourselves?

Jesus sacrifice on the cross has made us alive! Do we share that good news with others? Jesus is the ark on which God has saved humanity. Is that truth renewed in us?

God has given us witness of who He is and what His son came to accomplish? What is our witness to others? Is the light of God shining through us to others? If not, what can we do about that?

Why did Jesus come to this earth? How was this an act of love? Is this love given to us, a blessing to others?

How does God bring joy? Why did God share the news of Jesus birth with shepherds? God calls us to shepherd others. Do we have the heart of shepherd?

What stirs our faith in God? How was faith stirred in preparation for Jesus coming? How do we encourage each other's faith?

When was the last time we looked at the miracle of Jesus coming? Why did He need to come to the earth? What does it mean that Jesus came as "Immanuel"?

What allows us to endure as followers of Christ? Do we have an answer for the hope we have inside us?

What does God encourage us to value about who we are? Do we spend as much time worrying about our character as our appearance? How do we draw people to the gospel, even when they mistreat us?

What is the purpose of suffering? Why did Jesus have to suffer and did it have purpose? Can a Christian live without suffering in their life?

What is the purpose of the freedom that Christ has given us as believers? Do we use our freedom as believers to satisfy our sinful desires or to follow the Lord? How do we respond to authority we do not agree with? How do we carry ourselves as Christians when authority rebels against the Lord?

Why do we spend time in praise? Do we testify to what God has done in our lives? We have a call on our lives to be a holy people, but how do we conduct ourselves as that holy people?

What does it mean to build on the foundation of Jesus as our cornerstone? What does it mean that Jesus is the cornerstone? Who are we aligning ourselves with?

We are told to be holy because the Lord is holy. How did Jesus conduct himself while on earth? What does it mean to be holy?

What does it mean to have a living hope? What makes it alive? How do we have a hope that does not depend on our circumstance? Peter wanted believers to understand where their hope was found. He uses the beginning of his letter to believers, wherever they may be, to understand their home is in the Lord, the giver of a living hope!

What allows us to be steadfast during a trial? What made Daniel steadfast? Have we fostered good Godly habits to strengthen our relationship with the Lord?

Our circumstances can shape our character or we can look to the Lord and allow Him to be the one who shapes us. No matter what is happening in your life God has you in place for such a time as this. Are we a light, pointing the way to others or are our circumstances averting our attention away from the Lord?

2 Samuel 5:1-4. The Good the Bad and the Great of David as King! How can we respond to sin in our own lives like David?

1 Samuel 16:10-13. Who is our Shepherd? Do we know the Lord's leading voice? David learned God's voice as he relied on Him during his time as a shepherd. What difficult situation is God using in our lives to develop us as shepherds of others into the knowledge of who God is?

Ruth 1 & Ruth 3. Ruth was steadfast in difficulty. She lost her husband and chose uncertainty over comfort, all to follow after the Lord. How do we remain steadfast in difficulty? What are we anchored to?

Judges 6 & 7. Where does the might to do great things come from? Was Gideon a mighty man because of his bravery or because he trusted God to be the hero? Do you believe you are meant to do mighty things?
