We will examine how justice is laid out in 7 cases in the book of Deuteronomy. As well as how God views proper relationships.

In Deuteronomy 17, God is giving Moses guidelines for when Israel asks for a king, which happens some 400 years later.  We will explore God’s plan and His desire to be our King today.

In Deuteronomy 13, Moses instructs the Israelites to discern truth from deception and to reject any influence encouraging idolatry.

We are now in the book of Deuteronomy. The people are about to enter the Promised Land. Moses reminds them to be faithful to the covenant to to remember God’s promises. 

We are finishing the Book of Numbers/Through the Wilderness. When the people cross the Jordan, they are to set up designated cities to serve as “Cities of Refuge.” Let us dig into the meaning and purpose. 

God is taking his vengeance on Midian. The Midianites brought evil into the camp and they too must pay.

We jump into a story many people think is bizarre—a talking donkey and curses and blessings. Let’s process what's going on

The people continue to grumble towards God and Moses. Does grumbling still happen today? How should it be handled? 

We see God’s response to the Israelite’s reluctance to go into the Promised Land. Then we see the arrogance of the people’s response. 

As we continue in Numbers, we see that God is now leading the people from Mount Sinai to the Promised Land. Let’s explore what it looks like to go "through the wilderness." 

We come to a section where men and women are allowed to take a Nazirite Vow. What is it? What’s its purpose? Does it impact today?

We now enter the Book of Numbers. The Israelites are now preparing to leave Mount Sinai and head to the promise land. As they prepare, we set up for the journey.

We are going to look at the festivals that are laid out in Leviticus. Let’s look at how we are to “gather” today.

The Day of Atonement is marked by the purification of the Holy Place. Transgressions must be expelled from God’s presence.  

As we continue in Leviticus and the Torah, we continue to see that people fall short. That our actual nature is distance from God. How do we get to a place of intimacy with God?

In these sections of Leviticus, being ritually unclean is a major topic. We don’t really talk about being ritually unclean in today’s world, but we are talking about it today
