The Battle or War of Wisdom has been going on since the beginning of the Bible. Let’s see how Solomon begins his reign as king.

2 Samuel 22 records David's song after the Lord gave him victory over his enemies. Even in life's ups and downs, our Lord is always deserving of praise.

Nathan courageously confronts David out of love, risking his life to help restore him. He models how biblical confrontation should be both truthful and compassionate. Do we confront in love and how do we handle being confronted?

David is to be with the army, but he is still at home. A series of steps will lead David down a road he should never have gone down.

This week we continue to see how David interacts with the Lord. this could give us good insight into how we are to walk with the lord as well.

King Saul dies and he fulfills the prophecies told of him. Jesus dies and he too will fulfill the prophecies.

David is on this epic journey. You see him in victory, we see him on the run, we see him in unique situations. Then, all of a sudden, we see the story go to King Saul and his attempts to “see” the outcome.

David is on the run from King Saul and his men. David has an opportunity to end Saul’s life, let’s look at what he does

We can fear people and circumstances, or we can fear the Lord. How do we learn to fear the Lord?

King Saul has been named king. He brings some unity to the people, but his downfall has begun. What led to his losing the kingdom?

It is now the time for the monarch of kings. Why did they choose a king over God? How are we to look at leadership in light of the passages?     

We enter a new book of the Bible this week, 1 Samuel. The time of the judges is ending and the time of kings is upon us.    

Everyone was doing what was right in their own eyes. When this happens, evil can run wild. What should we do as believers in such a fallen state?  

Samson is a very well known character in the Bible. Samson is even known by non-Christians. There is so much potential and issues with this double-minded man. What can we learn from his journey?

As we read Judges 6, we will see different judges come to the forefront. Today we will look at Median and his faith and his fears

We will be starting a new book of the Bible, Judges. We will see where the people went wrong and how God provides again and again.

The second week of Joshua has us look at three different military battles. Let’s look at the outcomes and see if the people obey.  

As we enter the year of 2025, we must continue to battle wisely the enemy. Through the Scripture we will continue to see how to fight these ancient enemies, while battling them in the world today. We also must not forget, that God has and will win the War. 

As we wrap up the Torah and 2024. Moses will pass away, but the story continues. We will continue to see that there is only One True God.

Let us celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Sometimes there are only two choices. There is no other way. Moses is telling the Israelites to choose life. If they don’t choose life, they choose death.
