Live At Five

Whew! It's one of those shows today! One call after another and it was all about local stuff too. The downtown flower boxes and the new reverse parking on Court St. took center stage as Glenn criticized Lefty and another caller for being annoying today.

Glenn had Dr. Michael Schwartz on again to discuss the NEW mask mandates that have been popping up. Glenn asked if this is to secure the elections again for 2024. Michael had plenty to say from his book, Fauci's Fiction and encourages people to open their eyes instead of taking sides. Good follow-up calls after today's 30 minute conversation.

What? No one was sentenced to 4 years for the so-called insurrection! Glenn cleared the air on that local issue and then went on to speak with SG, Donnie, the Gruff Guy, Danny and Lefty today. Good stuff about the state of the union and a lot of things in between. No Attorney Joe Stanley today!

Back in the studio again, but it seems the ongoing 'pissing-match' between certain callers continues on both AM1240 talk shows. SG chimed in with his reasons, while others chastised SG. Good stuff, no Joe, but Glenn praised Gutfeld for being brave enough to talk out loud about looting in American cities.

Solo Tuesday show today, and Glenn had fun talking about the topics of the day. That included, Hawaii, Trump's latest indictment and the prospect of NO election in 2024. Good stuff and some impersonations of Mike Francesa.

Monday's show included some thoughts about the fires in Hawaii. SG says our callers and analysis of the fires was out of line. Anyway, good callers throughout today's show and a several callers chimed in about the downsides of electric vehicles.

Glenn's show segments were featured on Newzjunky.com today and boy did that get a lot of attention. However, Glenn felt bad he referred to people as 'White-Trash', so he explained himself today. Tons of calls, and plenty of support. Plus, Glenn spoke of great things too happening in Watertown!

Wednesday's show was a little bit of everything. First, Glenn got a visit from the softball organizer today, so Glenn shared a little about that. Then, today's show was all about how 'nuts' America has become. Glenn feels the recent incident on a pier in Alabama says a lot. Local issues today, including the news of a city engineer getting a DWI at City Hall, AND last night's council meeting when a softball organizer spoke about being disrespected by Sarah Compo and Lisa Rugerio. This spurred many calls throughout today's show. The guy is furious enough to buy a billboard on Route 81!

It was a solo show today with Glenn from start to finish. Good calls, and good follow-up chatter about Chicago and the state of the nation today. Then, Jason called in to ask Glenn what happened to the Empire State. Well, Glenn gave him and the audience an answer. NYS was great, but it ain't anymore. Have a great weekend!

Glenn had Becca from Hale Transportation in-studio today to talk about their involvement with the upcoming Aug 26th event called 'Brew York'. Organizer Pat Robbins chimed in too, to discuss how Hale is allowing people to get back and forth every 30 minutes to the event in Sackets Harbor. Glenn took calls during the show's last 20 minutes too.

It was criticize Glenn day, with several callers asking for more Glenn and less guests. That said, the same people enjoyed yesterday's conversation with Michael Schwartz and his book about Covid-19. Attorney Joe Stanley discussed dangerous construction zones, and apparently Jeff Graham hung up on several Live at Five callers. Who know?

Glenn had an extended conversation with medical clinic owner and author, Dr. Michael Schwartz. His book, dubbed, 'Fauci's Fiction', covers the inconsistencies America saw from the MSM, in relation to real data. Michael shared why his findings did not match what our own government was telling us. He also covered many reasons why vaccinations actually did more harm than good. Good show!

Back in the saddle for a Friday, and Glenn covered 'Sign-Gate' and the latest headlines from DC. The show was essentially Glenn talking for 50 minutes about how doomed the country is looking right now. A sad call from a farm hand who struggled to pay taxes after years-long child support.

Here's Monday's show which includes Jerry Manor from Seacomm Credit Union and a long discussion about 'Sign-Gate', which covers the current gripe Councilperson Ruggiero has with Sarah Compo's signs. Her objection is the signs don't include the word 'For' Mayor.

Today's show included hall of fame Tommy John and marketing executive Mac MacFarlane. Good stuff especially regarding an auction to benefit kids. We also talked quite a bit about Thurman Munson and the prospect of Tommy getting into the Hall of Fame, which looks very good in December 2024.

Thursday's show did NOT include Attorney Joe Stanley, but it did include lively discussions that began with Danny Francis and excelerated when Jim Leven came in for the rest of today's show. People faught back, but nothing was accomplished.

Shelly Goldstein, a well-known Hollywood writer called from London today to discuss the impact of the current SAG and writers strike going on right now. She specifically talked about the impact of AI and how it will remove the 'human-factor', thus remove all emotions from TV shows and movies. No Joe today, he'll call in tomorrow!

Glenn was back for a Monday show where he complimented Jeff's efforts to keep the Live at Five Show interesting last Thursday and Friday. Jeff's nurse talked about the life of a nursing home nurse and how 'sundowners' act when day turns to night. Also, Glenn shared his thoughts about the Jim Leven billboard on Factory Street.

Glenn reflected on the state of the 2024 presidential race, and then talked to Attorney Joe Stanley about yesterday's show with Michelle Smithers who is looking to get her 32k back from a crooked contractor. Joe also talked about the dangers of building a home on a slope in muddy California. Glenn won't be back until next Monday, because he's going to Philadelphia to see his nephew get...

Glenn had a local resident in the studio who was mislead by an alleged contractor who took her for 32k! Michelle Lynn talked at length to how it all happened and many callers chimed in with their advice. Hopefully, she can get legal action in her favor!

Glenn had national issues on his mind, but today's show took a local turn about the Northside vs Southside discussion. Glenn did talk about Hunter Biden's look of guilt last week at the White House and SG said the new generation wants what they want. Oh boy!

Glenn simply laid out his concerns with America, particularly the mental health of middle-age women. Glenn shared some disturbing videos of women off the rails and added his own story of his crazy friend who wanted to damage her husband's car after he accidentally damaged her boat. Good calls throughout including a woman who saw the movie about child trafficing.

Glenn had a full show of good calls today, boring calls and who gives a shit calls too. Attorney Joe Stanley was on today, so Glenn shared his $50 fine caught on camera, plus Joe shared his views on the new flower boxes on Lower Washington Street. Happy July!
