Jim and Todd talk about Gophers star Koi Perich entering the transfer portal. Jim makes his predictions for the College Football Playoff Semifinals. What does Jim see the Vikings doing to add a veteran QB? He mentions some familiar names and who he thinks the Vikings should pursue.

Jim talks Vikings and joins Star-Trib fellow columnist Mark Craig in saying the Vikings choosing to play everyone and win games despite being mathematically eliminated is the right thing to do. Jim casts some doubt on Brian Flores returning to the Vikings and said it "won't be a football thing," if he does move on. It will be a personality conflict within the organization, not with KOC.

Jim talks about his column about looking back at the Vikings season and realizing if one or two plays had been different, they could be playing for a spot in the post season on Sunday. There isn't a standout team in the NFC this year. In the AFC there are but they both have young QB's.

Jim joins Todd and talks about his column today ranking who he thinks has the best chance to win a championship among the Vikings, T-Wolves, Wild and Twins. Just a hint, the Twins rank last. 

Jim gives an injury update on the Vikings. talks about Chip Scoggins column addressing all the injuries in the league and whether they should go to an 18 game schedule. The Vikings aren't going to trade draft capital and release good veteran QB's to only give JJ McCarthy 8-10 starts to prove himself. They are not going to move off of him.

Jim and Todd talk about the Vikings win over the Giants. JJ McCarthy's injury should not put him in the "injury prone" status just yet. Other injury news, not too good for C Ryan Kelly with a third concussion this season. The defense played great. There are roster decisions to make for next year in the offseason, will Jordan Addison still be in purple in '26.

Jim believes the Chiefs dynasty is over, for now.

Jim will be flying to Dallas this weekend to cover the Vikings game against the Cowboys. All the conversation in the NFL today is about Joe Burrow's press conference. Could the Vikings actually have interest in Burrow in the off-season?
