While he was still speaking, the king said to him “Have we appointed you an adviser to the king? Stop! Why be struck down?” So the prophet stopped but said “I know that God has determined to destroy you because you have done this and have not listened to my counsel.”2 Chronicles 25:16

Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king and he reigned in Jerusalem for eight years. He passed away, to no one’s regret, and was buried in the City of David, but not in the tombs of the kings.2 Chronicles 21:20

The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the ways of his father David before him. He did not consult the Baals but sought the God of his father and followed his commands rather than the practices of Israel.2 Chronicles 17:3-4

But in their distress they turned to the Lord, the God of Israel, and sought Him and He was found by them.2 Chronicles 15:4

So Israel has been in rebellion against the house of David ​to this day.2 Chronicles 10:19

“...if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”2 Chronicles 7:14

That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him “Ask for whatever you want Me to give you.”2 Chronicles 1:7

David also said to Solomon his son “Be strong and courageous and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the Temple of the Lord is finished.”1 Chronicles 28:20

David, together with the commanders of the army, set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun for the ministry of prophesying, accompanied by harps, lyres and cymbals...1 Chronicles 25:1

Be strong, and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The Lord will do what is good in His sight.1 Chronicles 19:13

Nathan replied to David “Whatever you have in mind, do it, for God is with you.”1 Chronicles 17:2

These were the chiefs of David’s mighty warriors - they, together with all Israel, gave his kingship strong support to extend it over the whole land, as the Lord had promised.1 Chronicles 11:10

Some of them were in charge of the articles used in the temple service; they counted them when they were brought in and when they were taken out.1 Chronicles 9:28

Jabez was more honourable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying “I gave birth to him in pain.” Jabez cried out to the God of Israel “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” and God granted his request.1 Chronicles 4:9-10

The son of Karmi: Achar, who brought trouble on Israel by violating the ban on taking devoted things.1 Chronicles 2:7

The king gave this order to all the people: “Celebrate the Passover to the Lord your God, as it is written in this Book of the Covenant.” Neither in the days of the judges who led Israel nor in the days of the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah had any such Passover been observed.2 Kings 23:21-22

In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the Lord says: Put your house in order because you are going to die; you will not recover.”2 Kings 20:1

He (Jeroboam) was the one who restored the boundaries of Israel from Lebo Hamath to the Dead Sea, in accordance with the word of the Lord, the God of Israel, spoken through his servant Jonah son of Amittai, the prophet from Gath Hepher.2 Kings 14:25

The lookout reported “He has reached them but he isn’t coming back either. The driving is like that of Jehu son of Nimshi - he drives like a maniac.”2 Kings 9:20

Naaman’s servants went to him and said “My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more, then, when he tells you ‘Wash and be cleansed!’”2 Kings 5:13

The company of the prophets at Bethel came out to Elisha and asked “Do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you today?” “Yes, I know,” Elisha replied “so be quiet.”2 Kings 2:3

… I (Ahab) said to Naboth the Jezreelite, “Sell me your vineyard…” but he said “I will not give you my vineyard.” Jezebel his wife said “Is this how you act as king over Israel? Get up and eat! Cheer up. I’ll get you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”1 Kings 21:6-7

She said to Elijah “What do you have against me, man of God? Did you come to remind me of my sin and kill my son?”1 Kings 17:18

Rehoboam rejected the advice the elders gave him and consulted the young men who had grown up with him and were serving him.1 Kings 12:8

As for the other events of Solomon’s reign - all he did and the wisdom he displayed - are they not written in the book of the annals of Solomon?1 Kings 11:41
