Everyone needs a pick-me-up every now and then, now more than ever. Rather than focusing on the bad, let's focus on all the good in the world. The movies that make us feel warm and fuzzy inside. In our inaugural "Skype-cast" we share the movies we love that will get you through isolation with a smile on your face.

You know what's weird? Twins. You know what's even weirder? When two movies with the same general plot/premise come out within the same year. Since we're in the end times, we might as well start off with two "rock from space is going to end the world" movies released in 1998: Armageddon and Deep Impact.

Kids are dumb, we know this. How are we to know that our favourite childhood movies are really that good at all? This week we list the ones we've rewatched and confirm that they actually do hold up as good movies today. Maybe you'll agree, or maybe you'll have a few "new" oldies to add to your watch list.

It was 1982 when Steven Spielberg introduced us to the lovable extra-terrestrial ET, and set our hearts aglow, much like the titular character's own chest cavity... and Nathan had never seen it! We eat lightning and crap thunder this week as we dive into the 1976 best picture winner,  Rocky. Adam has never seen Rocky, Nathan has, it's a simple as that. Join us as we discuss the film that started the franchise. 

We get Romantic this week looking at some of our favourite romance films along with others that don't quite hit the mark. And of course Star Wars is mentioned. Apologizes for the sound quality we have our best people working on it. 

G'day, mate. We throw another shrimp on the barbie and review what is possibly the greatest comedy of the 90's, Dumb and Dumber, as well as it's 20-year-later sequel Dumb and Dumber To. Does it live up to the original, or is it just a crossbreed of bulldog and a shih-tzu?

This week we do a deep dive into how we rate films. Is Ant-Man and the Wasp a better film than The Lion King?  What does Multiplicity have to do with comedy? How does Avatar stack up against The Phantom Menace? Join us as we come to no conclusions and resolve absolutely nothing.

We go down our top ten movies of the last decade and of course get a little sidetracked along the way. Does Ant-Man make it onto Adam's list? Can Nathan complete a full sentence? What is that smell? Tune in to fine out.

As the release of The Rise of Skywalker is fast approaching we discuss where we are in the "Skywalker Saga" and all the things that are wrong with The Last Jedi. Nathan hates it and Adam tries his best to defend it's merits, as few as there are.
