We discuss our favourite actors, that's it. Thats pretty much all we do for 3 plus hours. 

Who needs to win a golden statue for audience approval when you can have two schlubs list off their favourite Hollywood starlets instead? Maybe some of them have won Oscar gold. You'll have to listen to find out. This is the award show that you can only hear on this podcast, folks. (No actual awards will be given)

We talk a lot of movies this week. Steel Magnolias, Mrs. Doubtfire, The Red Violin, The Passion of the Christ, US Marshals, Enola Holmes, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., 10,000 BC, Silver Lining's Playbook, Grizzly Man, Beverley Hills Cop, Bohemian Rhapsody, Knives Out, The Rock, Flora & Ulysses, Peter Rabbit, and Lake Placid. 

Part 6 of our Marvel Cinematic Universe series sees the end of Phase 2 with Avengers: Age of Ultron and the first Ant-Man, both from 2015. Two movies that seem to have a lower reputation among fans, but still hold a special place in (at least one of) our hearts.

As promised this week we tackle Adam's most anticipated sequal since Ant-Man and The Wasp , ... Godzilla vs Kong . The review starts around the 38:30 min mark. In preparation for Godzilla vs Kong this week, we have re-watched all the movies in this franchise leading up to it: Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island, and Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Hooooold on to your butts.

Everyone is talking about it and so are we, Zack Snyder's Justice League. Our DC correspondent Evan joins us to dive deep into this unique film. 

There's this group of blue collar workers, in a remote location, surviving the elements and this... thing. Or is it an alien? Not sure if we're talking about Ridley Scott's 1979 classic "Alien" or John Carpenter's 1982 "The Thing"? Well, it's kind of both, but as the title of the episode already told you it's really Alien.

We dive back into Star Wars with Ron Howard's Solo. Our Star Wars expert Steve joins us again and we also rank each the Star Wars films. 

For the fifth instalment of our journey through the Marvel Cinematic Universe we come across one of the strongest pairing of films in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). What a year for Marvel, and what a treat for us all!

We go through the various things we've watched in February, including an in depth look at Greenland (2020) with our good friend, and frequent guest, Steve. We also discuss Crocodile Dundee, the Alien and Terminator franchises, Romeo + Juliet, Destroy All Monsters, The Queen's Gambit, and Palm Springs to name a few.

We are back in the 1990's with Michael Mann's The Last of the Mohicans, starring Daniel Day-Lewis and Madeleine Stowe. Adam has never seen it Nathan has. 

We talk Ocean's Eleven (1960) and Ocean's 11 (2001). Who is cooler the Rat Pack or George Clooney and Brad Pitt? Show favourite Brad joins us again from parts unknown. 

We are on movies 7 & 8 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, two sequels: Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World. Where do they fall on our rankings of the MCU? We also get into the Godzilla vs Kong trailer and all the hype around that.

Liam Neeson's daughter has been taken, he's been stabbed by a lightsaber, he's walked among tombstones, been a lion, and released a kraken. This week we talk about when he was a group of oil workers' only chance of survival after a plane crash in Alaska. We are talking about The Grey (2011). An underrated and possibly forgotten gem of a film that is worth another look. Once more into the fray...

Star Wars, Star Wars everywhere. We welcome back a fan favourite, our man in the east Steve joins us again for a lively discussion on the first non-Skywalker Star Wars movie.  Rogue ........One?

To end the year off we finish the MCU's phase one with Captain America and The Avengers. Happy New Year and thanks for listening see you in 2021. 

As always, we go through what else we've watched in the past month, including thus far unmentioned Christmas movies (finally making an appearance at 2:30:00). This week we talk the many different versions of Charles Dickensessss A Christmas Carol. Also we talk about some of the recent Disney + announcements. Christmas Carol talk starts around the 30 min mark. 

Taking a break from "traditional" Christmas movies, we watch and discuss Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) and Die Hard (1988). Inevitably we get into the validity of Die Hard being a "Christmas Movie" debate again, and for definitive proof of which side is the clear winner take a look at our Facebook page.

It's that time of year again: Christmas! We've made our lists and checked them twice, and came up with our favourite Christmas movies to watch this time of year. Delivered right at the start of December so you can use these lists as a guideline of what you too should watch, because we're nothing if not film watching habit influencers.

We watched some stuff in November, what stuff? I don't even remember. Come listen and enjoy.  

Continuing our journey through the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we move on to The Incredible Hulk and Thor. Not only is this the second episode in this series, but it is also our second time recording it. Whether we've said it all before or not, we will always have things to argue about.

Can you control your fear? We can, now that we've rewatched The Ghost and the Darkness, the forgotten 1996 film about man vs beast. Is it as good as we remember? Is it as bad as it was labelled? Only way to find out is to hit that play button.
