There's such a thing as self-denial. The man whose soul has been saved must live His life in absolute commitment to the One who saved him. Everyday must be lived for Him. Our selfish interests must give way for His will daily in our lives.

The emptiness caused by sin has been filled by the Spirit given to us. By the Spirit God now lives in us. We have become one with Him. By the Spirit the fear of death has been expelled. The thirst has been quenched. We have become free. We have drunk of that water and it's now in us a fountain that never runs dry.

The righteousness of God is fully seen in Jesus. We can't define righteousness outside God. We see it all in Jesus. How He comforts the sinner. How He seeks to transform and not to condemn. How His grace saves and equally produces the very righteousness needed in man. He knows where to cast the stone. The heart of man.

Jesus never treated false doctrines with kids' gloves. He didn't in any way teach tolerance to false doctrines. Many times the damage left by false teachings are irreparable. Men seem never to recover from the destructions caused by false teaching. The instruction is to flee false teaching. To be able to flee false teachings is simply because you are grounded in the truth.

One thing we must know is that none of us is sent to show ourselves to the world. The purpose of Christ is to show Christ to the world. This implies that we have nothing to prove to the world but to reveal the power of His saving grace to men.

Knowing our source of joy is paramount . It is the good news of God's saving grace from the shackles of sin and death.

The grace of God brings freedom. Freedom to receive from Him. Where men are bound by legalism it becomes hard for them to receive the power of God over their lives and circumstances. Faith finds expression where the grace of God is emphasized and men receive effortlessly.

How we perceive the grace of God will always show in our expression of love. When we see the abundance of His grace our love will also be boundless.

There are orders we can't violate. We can give the devil a foothold by being negligent. An act of negligence can go a long way to pull down what was taken years to build. Self-control is needed much more as one grows in influence.

Learning to align our priorities in order of importance and more primarily in the light of God's will and purpose is very important. We must major on the major. We mustn't make the things that have no eternal bearing distract us from true purpose.

The need for financial accountability must be given much attention to in a world where money is having much influence on men. Our approach to money must reflect our devotion to God especially as got to do with His work.

What are we ready to give up just to see Jesus? What is keeping us from fixing our gaze completely on Him. What has become more important than the revelation of Jesus.

One thing we must understand as believers is that we are one body and we belong to one another. The progress of one ought to be the joy of the street as we all are serving the same purpose. Much more we mustn't measure our success by the progress of others and learn truly to stay within the boundaries of God's call for our lives.

The harvest is for ready men. Men who have been readied by training. The work will progress absolutely in the hands of those who are ready and not with those who make excuses.

The leader must consistently model the right disposition for those following. The leader regulates to a greater degree how the followers respond to matters by how he himself responds.

Nothing will suffice but the complete trust in the grace of God. Whenever we present our works as a prerequisite we frustrate the grace of God. It's only by the grace of God salvation is received by man.

True loyalty is staying with the truth of God's word. It isn't a slant towards the flesh. It isn't taking sides. Loyalty that violates bible truth is blind loyalty.

David shows us the true disposition of a leader. It is the responsibility of the leader to give direction to the zeal of those following accurately.

It is the word of God over experiences. We must not treat the word of God with kid's gloves because of our experiences. Any experience that can't be found within the confines of scripture is invalid. Everything must be submitted to the Lordship of the word..

Kindness is a fruit of the Spirit. A great virtue we should express. We mustn't withdraw when it is in our place to show acts of kindness and we must also not forget acts of kindness shown to us.

Jesus showed that authority in teaching is in clarity. It is in bringing men to understand accurately the purpose of God. The people could distinguish between the way the scribes taught from the way Jesus taught. He taught graciously, opening their minds to the purpose of God. This is teaching with authority. It is bringing clarity to men by accurate interpretation.

Without training men and releasing them to do the work of ministry, the mission of Christ won't be prolonged. The purpose of discipleship is that ministry will be given full and accurate expression. The end of discipleship is ministry.

Faith in the gospel is an automatic and irreversible relocation. From death to life. From guilt to justification. All by faith in the gospel..

The believer is who he is now because of what the Father did through His Son Jesus. This scripture calls His abundant mercy. The assurance of our salvation, that living hope that we have today is all because of the Father's abundant mercy brought to light by His Son Jesus Christ.

The purpose of the gifts is service. You can't be a good steward if you aren't serving with the gifts
