Christ is the message. He is the ministry. He is our devotion. This must be clearly stated. We must hold on to the truth concerning Him else our devotion to Him becomes questionable.

The gospel is the eternal word of God. It can't be overthrown. It has outlasted different times and seasons. The earth will be filled with the glory of God through the gospel. We therefore aren't moved by the oppositions of men. The work of God can't be overthrown.

God's opinion as to how we become accepted before Him is clearly put forth by Him. His opinion which is equally unchanging is faith in the Son. Faith in His grace. You cannot work your way towards righteousness. You can only put your faith in the way He has shown. Righteousness is by faith alone in Christ alone.

The one who has believed in what Jesus has done is free from death. He can't be condemned. That which Jesus tasted for him he cannot experience because he has believed. We come into the experiences of Jesus vitally by faith. Therefore because we have put faith in Him, His death is our death.

The Kingdom of God is totally different from the world. The man that is in the kingdom but lives by the standards of the world will not see the result that is in consonance with the kingdom. The word of God shows us how to live in the kingdom. We follow a different set of rules in the kingdom.

We cannot go about the work of ministry anyhow. Faithfulness to the laid down instructions is how we compete according to the rules.

The believers' righteousness is established upon the redemptive work of Christ and His resurrection. No one is righteous upon his performance or law keeping. Righteousness is the gift of God through the blood of the Son and it is eternal.

We cannot afford to talk like unbelievers. We can't afford throw words around without caution like unbelievers. We are assured of our salvation. We therefore speak with boldness and conviction. When we talk we talk as those who beyond every reasonable doubt know what we are talking about.

The man in Christ is perfect. That is, he is complete. It is his state in or condition in Christ. It is by this he shows himself upright. In Christ we become to do. We do not do to become.

The message of the gospel is clear. It isn't confusing. Confusion will not birth faith. It is simple. Totally anchored on Christ. It is preaching what the mind must align to. It is the good news of what God has done in His Son which cause men to change their minds for the better.

There's a proper way of bringing men who don't fully understand the truth to the truth. In all we do we must ensure we don't quench the zeal of men. In love and wisdom the souls of men will be preserved for true purpose..

Apollos teaches us how to respond to truth. He teaches us how to be openhearted to truth. He shows us humility and true zeal. He shows us that the cause of Christ worths far more than our ego or pride.

God never abandons. God never forsakes. God never leaves His own. God's love and mercy are His loyalty. His word His integrity on the line. A very present help in times of need. He takes care. He gives care. He always come through for His own.

Faith is proven by works. The fruit of our faith is our conduct corresponding to it. The faith we have is to find expression in our love walk towards one another. Faith not given expression in love towards others is lifeless.

God's consistency is obvious in the written word. His fatherhood isn't a new testament revelation. His fatherhood has always been His nature. Seen in His goodness and uprightness towards the ungodly. Reaching out to the sinful man to show him the way is His fatherhood in display.

The eternal purpose of God was fulfilled in Christ, hence man's eternity clearly determined. He set eternity in our hearts by giving us His Spirit. All that God has done in Christ for our salvation determined eternity. When we believed our eternity was settled. Only in Christ.

We must give ourselves to that training of staying with the word for a long period of time. Either in listening, reading and studying or in teaching. The idea of quick fixes in bible study never produces long lasting men in the face of the turmoils that accompany the gospel. We must learn to camp around the word for a long period of time..

The blood of Jesus was shed for all of humanity. Jesus wasn't sent to discriminate with His death. He came to save the whole world hence all He has done is for the whole world and we have been sent to take the good news to the whole world.

The presence of God in us is His glory in us. We are the place of His rest. His final destination. Built in the resurrection of Christ. The very hope of our salvation.

The believer houses the presence of God. The believer is His permanent resident. His address. We are His instruments of worship..

We must have handle the Lord's flock like those who'd accountable to a Master. We must see it as a privilege. Christ Himself is the model Shepherd and gives us the accurate order for shepherding.

The strength of faith is in our focus on the word. How often we receive a word and soon forget it. How often we fix our attention on the storm rather than on the word. If we choose to stay on the word we won't be distracted by any storm. Faith is indeed the victory that overcomes.

Witnessing the good news of Christ's redemptive work and His resurrection is our purpose. Defending the truth of this in scripture is true witnessing. It isn't just to affirm He was raised back from the dead. It is to prove this in Scriptures. The purpose of Christ for us is to be His witnesses. Are you really a witness?

Teaching cannot be overemphasized in the local church. Discipleship will not be possible without teaching. Helping believers come to the truth can't be done without teaching. It is the apostolic order. It is God's order. We must give priority to it in the church.

We have received the best from God. We have drank the new wine. We are filled not needing any other. It is the gift of Christ Himself. Truly He saved the very best for the last.
