In God's presence He reveals to us who He is in a greater way. Our only response can really be that our expectancy of what He can and is willing to do would be greatly increased.

Jesus was a continuation of who God was to Israel in the Old Testament. God was and is Israel's healer. He first revealed Himself to Israel and then to the rest of the world His intentions of restoring and redeeming that which was lost.

God wants relationship with humanity and ever since The Fall God has been revealing Himself to us. He introduced Himself to Moses as Yahweh and since that time has expounded on that name. This week we examine what God means when He is referred to as Yahweh Rapha the God who heals.

Pastor Drew MeyerIn this new series "Full Gospel", we will see that the gospel is not just for the cleansing of our sins but also for the healing of our whole self. In Isaiah 53, the prophet Isaiah prophecies about the coming savior 500 years before He comes. We see with such clarity the purpose of His coming is to redeem, restore, and renew.

Pastor Tony MeyerThis week we wrap up our series on Pastor Drew's book "Discovering the Power of Prayer". We come full circle with the truth that everyone can have a secret place of prayer with God. In Matthew 6:5-6, Jesus lays out what we need to do to find that place of intimacy with God.

Finding consistency, focus, and vigor in our prayer lives can be difficult. We seem to battle against our flesh more than we'd care to admit. But, the place that God is calling each of to is a place of strength, peace, and restoration.

In this series we've explored the many aspects personal prayer. This week, however, we discover the power of corporate prayer. In Acts 4 we read about the early church's persecution and their response to it. The respond by turning to their friends and raising up one voice towards heaven. Corporate prayer is a unifying agent that God to uses to collectively encourage and change a people's hearts.

We're all contending with God for something. It's one of the many benefits of walking with Him. But, what if the breakthrough looks different than we thought it would? Do we have the faith to see the breakthrough when it comes? 1 Kings 18:41-44 is the story of Elijah praying for rain to end the drought. We're challenged by his faith, even though it doesn't look the way he thought it would.

Pastor Drew MeyerHow do you respond to desperate situations? Do they harden your heart towards God or draw you to Him? In Mark 2:1-12, we look at the paralytic man who is so desperate for Jesus that he has his friends do something that was unheard of. Desperation calls us into greater faith and relationship with God.

Often times we either pray very small prayers or give up on contending for things in our life because we don't realize the authority we have in Christ. This week we dive into Matthew 14:22-33 when Jesus instructs Peter to get out of the boat and walk the stormy seas with Him. Because of Jesus, we are enabled to walk in the miraculous everyday of our lives.

In Luke 10 we see a vivid story of two sisters through whom Jesus communicates this essential truth for our lives. This is a timely word for our generation that is easily distracted and anxious about many things.

Within the Christmas story, God gives us lots of reasons and clear invitations to come and see Him for who He is. Through the miraculous, we have many opportunities to recognize Him as the Son of God. But the reality, many don't recognize Him as the Son of God. Jesus gives us a promise of His Presence in Matthew 28:20. He says, "I am with you always, to the end of the age." This is a promise that grounds us in what is true during seasons of trials or difficulties. Join us as we explore this idea through the legacy of King Solomon.

The Holy Spirit dwelling in the life and body of the believer should be the convincing truth that demonstrates that God wants to dwell with us. It is a mandate on our life to tune in and live with an awareness of His Presence in our life through the person of the Holy Spirit. As we continue this series about this central theme of God's redemptive story we come to King David's legacy of establishing God's presence as highest priority in his life. David has found over his lifetime that as he established God as the highest priority, God established him in the center of his will.
