Guest Speaker Dick Schroeder is part of the National Chi Alpha Leadership Team. Dick was director of Montana State University Chi Alpha for over 30 years. This morning Dick shares with us about the power of the Holy Spirit.

Continuing in the book of Colossians 3,we see that God is calling us to put on love. And, God desires His love to infiltrate every part of our lives. This is not a part-time gospel. His love should impact our family, marriage, our job, and our neighbors. It is a full-time gospel that demands our complete surrender.

Special Guest Steve Pavek from Chi Alpha University of Alaska Anchorage shares a impactful message on the power of God in our lives.

Guest Speaker Steve Pavek and his wife Erin are Chi Alpha Missionaries to University of Alaska Anchorage. They have planted and pioneered a Chi Alpha movement in Alaska that has changed the social fabric of the state. This week Steve shares his heart on risking it all for Jesus.

God has never lost sight of who He's made you to be! Our identity is firmly rooted in Him. Often times, however, we take our eyes off of Jesus and put them onto ourselves or our situation. We then allow life to define who we are instead of Jesus. In Colossians 3, Paul encourages us to throw of the old you and put on the new.

God has destined us all for something far greater than we could ever imagine. One of the things that often keeps us from stepping into what God has is the fear of man. In Colossians 2, Paul reminds us that it is Jesus who in the ends judges us all, so we should live the with fear of God governing our hearts.

Anything of value costs us something following Jesus will surely costs us something. He offers His free gift of grace and we receive it and are empowered by it. But, we are called to lay down our lives and step out in obedience which will definitely cost us something in this life.

It is difficult to follow someone you do not know. And, for many of us we struggle to follow Jesus. There are many deficient views of Jesus circulating in our culture and if we are not careful we can start to believe Jesus is someone who He is not. So who is Jesus?

This week we begin a new series entitled "Ready in Christ". Over the next 9 weeks we will be studying through the book of Colossians. As a church, God has been and is preparing us for a great move. We have a simple prayer that says, "God, we're ready!".

Guest speaker Daniel Quinby is the Chi Alpha Director at the University of Northern Iowa. He, and his wife Emily, serve as missionaries to UNI with a desire to reach every student for Jesus and see God's power in action on campus. Daniel shares with us this morning on kingdom power.

In the place of worship we do battle against the enemy. Our weapons are thanksgiving, praise, and worship! By running hard after Jesus, we will be activated to take back what the enemy has stolen. Join us as we discover the power of our worship.

God has given each of us the ability to individually and uniquely worship Him. No one can worship God the way you can. We know that God created no two human beings the same. That means we have a unique voice and life to offer as worship to Him who created us.

Worship is that which captures our attention. That which holds our heart. And, it's important to understand how we worship and why, otherwise we find ourselves just going through the motions. This morning, we explore corporate worship. Why do we lift our hands? Why do we sing? Why do we lift our voices. God gives a unique and beautiful sound when we gather together to worship.

Worship is so important to the life of a believer and to the church. It's important to take time to understand God's call to us to be worshipers. God has created us as worshiping beings. We worship naturally. We worship that which we give attention to. Everyone worships something. And the reality we cannot have divided worship. We cannot have split attention. Our prayer is that God would truly hav...

1 John 3:16 says, "This is how we know what love is: That Jesus would lay down His life for us, so we ought to lay down our lives for our friends." This is a gospel of radical love, radical obedience, and complete surrender. As we conclude our series "Blindspots" we take a Sunday and respond to this call of complete surrender.

Our words carry the potential to bring life or to destroy. With our words we can speak hope to hopelessness, healing to brokenness, and strength to the weary. But, we can also tear down, complain and criticize, and destroy with our words. Holy Spirit help us to tame our tongue it can be used to bring life!

We were are all created to burn for something! The question is, however, are we burning for the right things? Are we burning for the things God desires us to have a passion for? The problem arises when things, that are less than God's best for our lives, capture our attention and focus. Our prayer must be, "God cause us to burn for You!"

Religion is deceptive in that it can fool us into cleaning up the exterior but never allowing any greater change to happen inside. The good news that Jesus came to bring and declare is good news for our heart, and our heart is the source of all issues of brokenness in our life. Join us as we unpack Matthew 15:10-20 and submit the matters of the heart to our Redeemer, Jesus.

Two of the main ways that God deals with our blindspots in through the conviction of the Holy Spirit and through being in community with one another. It's in community with others that often times our true colors are revealed and our rough edges are rubbed off. But how we deal with one another makes all the difference.

Repentance has been misunderstood and, in many ways, misrepresented in our western culture. We can understand that to turn to God for salvation requires repentance, but what role does repentance have in the life of an everyday believer? This week Pastor Drew will help us see our blindspots that hinder us from having a humble heart of repentance.

We all have blind spots. Things in our lives that we either over look or are unaware of. Things that, if gone undealt with, will plague us and hold us back from from being an influence in this life. Join us in this series as we unpack various blind spots and ask God to make us new!

As the final message of our Full Gospel series, Pastor Drew shares his heart for everyone to be activated to take this gospel to the ends of the earth. If we truly believe this gospel it would be unkind to not share it with a world dying to hear good news. A gospel that lacks power is no gospel at all!

There is peace in Jesus Christ for our restless minds. Our minds that never stop running. But, for the anguish, anxiety, depression, oppression, addictions etc. there is good news to you. Jesus purchased peace for us on the cross and the truth of Who God is and what Jesus accomplished is always the foundation for peace.

Jesus paid a high price for our lives. He made a way for us to be made whole and complete. That means our whole self- body, soul, and spirit. There are many of us walking around with deep emotional wounds that haven't been dealt with or healed. Jesus desires to heal those wounds!

Jesus is our salvation from sin. Jesus is our salvation from future judgement. Jesus is our salvation from the enemy. Sickness and disease are a work of the enemy and Jesus has victory over the enemy, sickness, and sin! Pastor Drew encourages with the word that Jesus is your perfect Healer.
