Life of the Lost

Saturday night and we’re feeling just right! A week that felt never-ending had its ups and downs and we’ll walk through a few in this episode! 

Imposter syndrome runs rapid in the adoption community but Sam didn’t recognize it until this past week. He's been struggling with this when it comes to his job and being a parent. We speak about how he’s viewing imposter syndrome and how he hopes to beat it. I (Meg) have been struggling with this more recently when it comes to Maya and others' assumptions about who I am to her. 

Last week was unexpectedly overwhelming with Maya catching Pneumonia but we all made it through and are back! We speak about balancing life and a time when Sam failed a class in college because his teacher wasn't a fan of his Jewish culture. Short and sweet this week!

We start off talking about an eventful bike ride that turned into a doctor's visit and a tetanus shot. Then transition into a difficult topic about Meg's birth sister and the physical/mental abuse she's endured at the hands of her own family.
