What is the foundation for growth? Matt looked at the example of John the Baptist who famously said “he must increase, I must decrease”. In order to grow, we must be born again and let God increase in our lives as we decrease and let go of our sin and struggles.

Jesus said that His Kingdom is not of this world. But he still teaches us to pray “your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven”. 1 Peter 1:23 says that we have been born again of an imperishable seed. We are of the Kingdom of God! At our Staff & Volunteers Dedication Service, Jim Wallace (chairman of The Australian Christian Lobby) reminded us that today the enemy is working to destroy the success of Christians. Unity is powerful for the Church and we need to be aware of Satan’s indirect attacks to destroy unity and purpose in our lives.

Each year, Frontline Youth & LMC Young Adults go away on Summer Camp in January. This year's theme was ASCEND. All about having faith and security in God in the highs and lows of camp. It was a pleasure to hear testimonies of how God moved in the lives of Liam, Emily, Chloe, Caleb, Kianu & Rowan.
