Following Jesus does not mean you will have a problem free life. The scriptures remind us that our reward for following Jesus is that we would become fearless people.

We can easily get really comfortable in our own little world. The scriptures remind us to have compassion on those around us. Compassion will disturb our comfort but, is most fulfilling.

The scriptures teach us that God has a time for everything. So in our good times, and the bad times, never lose heart, everything happens in God's timing. As we wait, we need to turn away from our thinking, and take on what God thinks of us.

Religion says, change and you can join us. Jesus says, join us and you will change. There is a huge difference. Jesus comes to you where you are, and is more than happy to start there. Following Him begins by just taking the next step.

The scriptures encourage us to praise no matter what you are going through. Your praise will rename things in your life. The best is yet to come!

The primary purpose of the church is to help broken people. Familiarity is the biggest enemy of longevity, it opens doors to offence and entitlement. Luke 15:25-32 is an example of how NOT to respond.

Reaching people is the primary purpose of the church. For this to become a reality, we must break through certain barriers. John 4 highlights what those barriers are and what Jesus did to confront them.
