In life sometimes we lose focus on things that really matter. This message contains 3 keys on how to finish well.

At Christmas time we are filled with excitement, wondering what gifts we have under the tree. Sometimes we receive the mundane gifts like socks and jocks. Miracles are found in the mundane, the manger. The scriptures remind us of 3 things about the manger that we can reflect upon in this season.

Behind every story there is a lesson. Matthew 2 is a well know story in the bible which highlights some keys for us to remember during the Christmas season.

Reaching people is the primary purpose of the church. For this to become our reality we must move from being inviters to become bringers. Luke 14 highlights 10 benefits of being bringers.

Christmas is known as the silly season. The scriptures remind us of the reason for the season. God gave His one and only son and in this time, it's our opportunity to rise up and give of ourselves.

As christians we can operate in pride or fear. The scriptures remind us that we are to grow in the grace of God and operate out of a heart of gratitude for all Jesus has done for us.

Rather than sitting around and waiting for great things to happen, the scriptures remind us to not remain complacent but to step out and move.

Suffering is a topic that hits close to home for all of us. This message addresses the questions "why didn't God create a world without suffering?", "is suffering God's punishment for our sin?" and "if God has the power to eradicate evil and suffering, why doesn't He do it?"

A response based on Romans 1:16-25, to some of the assumptions that often accompany this question.

Sometimes in our impatience we try and help God's plans, but God's hand cannot be forced, and His plans cannot be thwarted.

"Why Doesn't God Just Forgive Us?" is a question many people ask. However when a consider who God is a better question would be "why does He forgive us at all?".In this message we look at who God is, who we are and how Jesus made reconciliation possible.

With life comes times of trouble, temptation and transition. Scriptures encourage us to stay close to Jesus through these times.

Whenever there is a follower ship, there is leadership. Leadership is laying down your life to benefit others, the scriptures remind us that Jesus is our greatest leader.

Offence is unavoidable but our response to offence is completely within our control. This message contains some truths about offence & some keys on how we can limit its damage in our lives.

Lord, I want what you want! Humans are takers not givers. The scriptures remind us that God does not want our possessions but he want our heart.

Offences will come. If you hold onto offence, it will twist your value system. The scriptures encourage us to let go of our offences that come our way.

Act Like Men - In a time where mature men were few and far between, the apostle Paul gave some strong advice to the men. It was there time to make a stand and act like men. 2000 years later the same principles apply to the men of today.

Everything in our life needs taking care of. In the midst of life we forget to tend to our own soul and we get foggy. The Psalms remind us that it is our responsibility to tend to our own souls.
