Proverbs has so much wisdom to give us about friendship. In every interaction and in every conversation we have a choice - to be a friend for ourselves or to be a friend for others. Which path will you choose?

Each morning and before every decision we make we have a choice between two paths - to go our own way or to go His way. From Proverbs 16:1-3, we break down each path and get to the clear conclusion that Jesus' way is better.

Men, which path will you take? Will you passively allow the world to teach your kids or will you actively teach them the ways of God? Join us this week as we did into Proverbs 2:1-7.

It's hard to know when to speak up and when to be silent. There are times for both. In this sermon we explore how Proverbs 26:4-5 gives us wisdom to know the difference.

This summer we're acknowledging life's complexity and seeking wisdom in the middle of it. In this first installment of our new series, we look at Proverbs 12:1. Here we learn not to run from correction, but to humbly learn from it as it strengthens our relationship with our Heavenly Father.

In our final sermon in Hosea, we look at Hosea's final call for the people of God to return to the King. Hosea gives us a model in learning HOW to return to the King and then how God will return to His people when we do.

In Hosea 12, God uses the life of Jacob to show His people that there is nothing new under the sun. They have and continue to make the same mistakes their forefathers did, and yet God continues to engage them and call them back to Himself.

We're back in Hosea 6-7 as we look at repentance. God called His people to repent all those years ago and still calls us to repent because He wants our heart back. There are all kinds of reasons why we don't turn around and do things His way, but in the end the Gospel makes a way for our repentance to be possible and continual.

Fishing is the calling of Jesus' church. In this episode we look at how the strategy of fishing informs the strategy of the church and the un-boring life Jesus wants for us.

In Hosea 5 we learn a few more things about sin and we get to see two powerful pictures of how God comes to us in our sin. Especially on Palm Sunday 2026, we remember how the Lion of the Tribe of Judah entered His hunting ground to secure His ultimate victory and defeat His desired prey.

Ever wonder why Jesus didn't call His first disciples to be 'warriors of men,' or 'students of men' instead of 'fishers of men'? Because fishing skills and knowledge are incredibly transferrable to framing the life Jesus has invited us into.

We're all messy. None of us has it all together. We're all in need of help cleaning up our mess. And only Jesus has the stronger stuff. There is nothing and no one better than Jesus.

In the face of Israel's sin, God first looks at the priests and holds them accountable for what they've done giving us a powerful, sobering picture of how important leadership is in His church.
