As the Church, we are called to love like Jesus. But what does that look like for us? By comparing our opportunities to seek others today with the way Jesus did in his time, we can begin to see that our mission is to reach those beyond ourselves—and together, fully follow him.

What does it mean to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus? God wants us to love him with all of our heart, soul, and mind—but so often we take our eyes off of him when we’re distracted and end up lost. Following Jesus whole-heartedly leads to the best life for us, and for the body of Christ.

Sometimes in order to grow, we have to go back to our roots. As we celebrate our 30th anniversary as a church, we look back on the memories, songs, and mission that made us who we are. And we strive to remember that through it all, our focus is Jesus.

It’s not a surprise that the relationships we invest the most time in are the ones that grow the best. By being intentional about our time with God, we’re rooting ourselves in our faith. It’s as simple as finding your chair, committing to 10 minutes, reading, and reflecting. What path will you choose?

We know materialism is stupid. So why is our culture so obsessed with making money, having stuff, and building wealth here on earth? When we reduce our lives to what we have instead of who we are, we’re relying on money to make us happy. But by choosing to live with strategic simplicity, we’re expanding our life to everything God can do through us, and believing the truth that we are bigger than o...

When it comes to moral margin, we can have the best intentions going in. But the truth is that it’s easier to slide down a slope than climb a ladder. If we want to keep heading in the right direction, we have to keep pursuing morality––and it’s never too late to turn towards God.

We’re always looking for more time in our lives. But what if the issue isn’t the time we have, but the choices we make with it? If we want to have the best experiences, we have to prioritize them over trying to do everything. Having space for margin doesn’t mean having more time––it means having better priorities.

In our lives we can find ourselves chasing after meaningless trophies in an effort to feel more fulfilled. But the reality is the more we chase, the less room we have for margin in our lives. If we trust God to give us everything we need, we can stop worrying and start living.
