Are we making wise choices? The book of Proverbs gives us an opportunity to learn from the wisdom of others and understand the truth about what living wisely really means. When we make the wise choice to follow God, we’re setting ourselves up for a life of success with him by our side.

Baptism is the opportunity to proclaim that you are “all in” as a follower of Christ. We had 133 people across nine campuses make that claim this weekend—and we are so excited to celebrate with them!

God doesn’t just call us back—he buys us back. Even in our unfaithfulness and betrayal, just like Hosea buys back Gomer, our God loves us enough to pay a ransom for us. We are adopted into God’s family, forgiven of our sins, and gifted with eternal life through him.

The story of Hosea shows us how God responds to the messes we create for ourselves. When we reject God and follow our own path, we often find ourselves in deeper trouble than we even thought possible. But when we choose to follow him—and to be made new in his image—he will make us new creation.

When it comes to our relationship with God, we often think about it the way we think about our own relationships. But God is different than us—he loves even when he’s been hurt, and he never gives up even when we’ve turned away from him. But God isn’t looking for only part of our heart—he wants it all, and he’s devising a plan to bring us back to him.

One of the most powerful ways God can show us his truth is through his people. The story of Hosea tells the story of our relationship with God—how he chases after us time after time, even when we’re unfaithful to him. As we unpack the truth in the book of Hosea, we’ll learn that God’s love for us is bigger than our actions, and his promise to us stretches further than we can ever run.

There are many examples that Jesus gave us to live the best life—but he values two equally above the rest: love God and love others. Every decision we make, every word we say, every step we walk, we are called to do in love. And when we're loving like Jesus, we are showing him to the world.

As a church, one of our core values is making a difference on a global scale—how can we an impact where it’s needed most? Richard Stearns, President of World Vision, speaks to us on how coming together in a small way can lead to making a big difference.

To fully understand the importance of boundaries, we have to understand where they came from. If God hard-wired us with an emotional check engine light, it’s our responsibility to know when to address our boundary issues. When we learn that God cares more about our purpose than our performance, we can begin to fully be who he created us to be.

We all know that more often than not, the lives we’re living are a product of our behavior and the decisions we’ve made. So why is it so hard for us to let others face the consequence of their actions? When we realize the boundaries we set in our relationships with others means loving them through consequences, we can let them live the best life and learn from the decisions they make.

Boundaries define what is okay and what is not okay—but how do we know how to set boundaries that make the most impact in our lives? When we realize boundaries lead to growth in relationships instead of tension, we can begin to understand what they can do to empower us to live the life God has called us to live.

We've all made bad decisions in the middle of tough situations. It often takes hitting rock bottom before we even try to ask for help. But when we know the truth about what God has done for us, we can live knowing that his plan is bigger than what we know—and when we accept the good news, we can start living it.

Communion is our opportunity as a community to remember what Jesus did for us. When we take the steps forward to lay our burdens at the foot of the cross, we can live in the truth that we are God’s masterpiece.
