Today as we wrap up the book of James our author points us toward becoming men and women of purpose, both in reading the Word, and applying it to our lives daily.

Today James directs us toward learning patience in our lives as we learn to look to God through the temptations we are presented with.

Today we begin the book of James as our author encourages us to actively lean into God during the hardest parts of our life.

Today we finish up the book of Hebrews by looking at chapter 13. In our sermon today our author again reminds us to pursue Jesus diligently, to become lights to the world around us and to stand on truth.

Today our author talks about our response to God's teaching, and how our response can either cause us to grow closer to him, or cause us to develop bitterness in our hearts.

Today as we wrap up Hebrews 11 we look at Moses, and a faith that drove him to action, and how that action could be perceived by others, as crazy.

In chapter 9 our author switches gears from the priests to the sacrifices and answers the questons about why Jesus's sacrifice was so important and how it affects us today

Today our author transitions into the new Covenant that has been established by the blood of Jesus. We take time to look at the temple and the covenants that God has made with humanity.

Today we look at chapter 7 and the Order of Melchizedek. We see where Jesus is today and what is his doing on our behalf as he fulfills this incredibly important role for us.

Today we wrap up chapter 6, looking at the promises God has made, the change we can see in our lives and the obstacles he has already overcome for us.

Today we dive into the sixth chapter of Hebrews as our author challenges us to have healthy growing relationship in Christ, as we hear and act upon the word of God.

Today we celebrate the Birth of Jesus, God's love for us on display. In his actions He sets the example for us even in our own relationships.

In this second week of Advent we focus on the Peace that Jesus gives if we learn to follow his example in life.

Wrapping up the Christmas Program is a short devotion on week three of Advent: Joy. Where is your source of Joy? Join in and learn from the men and women of the Christmas story.

This is said by some to by the happiest time of year. But why are so many so sad? Why do so many seem to choose despair? This is the time of year we need to be reminded of where out true hope comes from.
