Today Peter points us toward the true importance of the Old Testament and how it relates to us even today.

Pointing back to his building blocks given in our last sermon, Peter points us toward a rewarding life of dilligent pursuit of God.

As we begin the book of 2nd Peter our author points us toward personally choosing growth in Christ as the best defense against false teaching.

Today as we end the book of 1 Peter, we look at the character qualities God is calling out of every believer as we grow through his leading.

This week we open chapter 5 and look at the personal growth of Peter from an immature man into a strong leader of the church.

Today Peter once again goes over very familiar material. Today we look at why we come to church and the reason God refines his followers.

Today as Peter introduces us to the idea of spiritual gifts, we use the oppertunity to take a deeper look at the gifts God has given to every beleiver as well as their purpose.

Today Peter jumps into having an eternal perspective that affects what we do with our todays as he calls believes to fervently love those around them.

Today we look at look at the first two verses of chapter 4. In his opening verses of the chapter Peter points us to the lessons we can learn from the hard times we each will eventually walk through in this life. 

As we wrap up chapter 3 Peter finalizes his time on suffering in our lives and ties our circumstances back to Jesus' own suffering.

Today Peter tells us to be prepared to tell others of the hope that is within us. Join us as we go over the basics of sharing the Gospel.

Today Peter continues his theme of submission as he moves from the govenrment to our relationships as spouses.

Today Peter dives in to hard truths that are aimed at changing our perspective on how we look at and react to our governing authorities.

This week Peter challenges us to dive into God's word Regularly and to display the love of Christ to the world around us.

Today Peter reminds us of the eternal nature, the cost of our redemption, and the call of Christians to follow God in their actions.

Today Peter points us to the Old Testament prophets as he tells us to lean into God fully, and to follow him as obedient children.

Today James lays a foundation for a secure faith in Christ as he addresses the hardships the men and women of his day were facing.

As James enters his final chapter he again warns his readers of the allure of wealth and reimds them to puruse godliness by applying patience.

Today James again points us toward Christlike character as we choose to use our words for building one another up, instead of tearing eachother down.

Continuing where chapter 3 left off, James builds on the life change we expeirence as we apply four God-centered character qualities.

Today James introduces us to the replacement principle as he shows us how to remove unhealthy attitudes and replace them with healthy ones.

Today we dive into the 3rd chapter of James where he shows us one of our greatest strenths and enemies: our tongues.

Today as we close chapter two we look at the practical side of our faith as it drives us toward action.

"Why would God send a good person to Hell?" "Are you sure they're saved?" Today we look at these questions and more as we work through the middle of James 2.

Today as we begin chapter 2, James shows us how to look at those around us the same way God see us, with equality.
