“Is Church one big hive mind?” We tend to treat the self as our major divinity, and losing our individuality as the ultimate heresy. As a Church, we follow One who emptied himself to make us united in him — each of us very distinct, yet one with Jesus. Bible Passage: Ephesians 4:1-7

"Rescued and Remade" and explores the idea of holiness in the Church. Ephesians 2 reveals an amazing truth: we are not just saved by grace – we are being completely remade for a life that actually reflects God. Holiness is both a gift and a calling to transformation through Jesus Christ. Bible Passage: Ephesians 2:1-10

“The Church’s glorious reputation.” Glory can feel like an abstract and distant idea—something that keeps us at arm’s length, something that asks nothing of us. But glory is at hand and calls us to a response: it concerns the reputation of Jesus himself and therefore the church, which is his body and the fullness of him. Bible Passage: Ephesians 1:16-23

“Don’t steal the pastor’s crown”. We tend to be suspicious when looking at authority. The good thing in Church is that local pastors are imperfect but modelled in Jesus, the perfect pastor. Biblical text: 1 Peter 5:1-9

This sermon is titled “Grace that goes after you.” Unlike disciplinary systems that seek solely to punish or shame, God calls his Church to confront internal sin and conflict with the goals of restoration and reconciliation. It is only through Jesus that we can be reconciled to God and to one another! Passage: Matthew 18:15-20

“Someone saved me a seat at the table.” There are dinner tables that make us feel honored just by being invited. Eating the bread and drinking the cup reminds us of Jesus’ death and resurrection, through which he saved us a seat at the Father’s table forever.

This sermon asks a question and provides the answer: “What should we do? Repent and be baptized”. Many groups have initiation rituals, but baptism is different. Jesus rules all things, promised to be with us, and gave us a clear way to confess our faith in him: being baptized.

This sermon asks “Is Jesus too good to be true?” Sometimes the worst we can do is trying to help Jesus. If your religion needs to be supplemented by sacrifices and sophistication, you are saying yes to Christ in theory but denying his power in real life. Biblical Text: Hebrews 8:1-13

We all need someone to stand before God in our place – a priest. We also need someone with authority that can protect and provide for his people – a king. Only Jesus fulfills both of these roles, purchasing our salvation through his blood and securing that salvation forever as the King of Kings!

“Jesus never fails his promises”. No one likes to wait for promises, but with Jesus it's different: he is not only the fulfillment of an old promise, but also the guarantee of an even better future one.

Spiritual laziness does not lead to growth. Just as physical babies eventually grow into adults, spiritual babies should also progress in their faith. A lack of growth leads to danger and vulnerability, but consistent dependance on Christ brings security and strength to endure to the end.

This sermon is entitled “Jesus, our only anchor against the drift.” Even as Christians, we are prone to drift from the gospel, constantly being tempted and pulled in different directions by the currents of life. But Jesus, the founder and champion of our salvation, is the anchor that will always hold. Being tethered to Him is our only hope! Text: Hebrews 2
