Landmark Church - Sunday Sermons

Passage: Luke 18:1-8  We must be persistent in taking our prayers to the Righteous Judge, trusting in His character and promises. The faithful will remain steady in Christ and Christ alone and will find hope and dependence on God in prayer. 

Passage: Luke 18:9-14  The only way that we are made righteous is through Christ's righteousness. We must be continuously undone in the light of God’s mercy and grace towards us. 

Passage: Luke 10:25-37  God's love and mercy towards us should lead us to acts of love and mercy towards others. All people who God puts in our path are neighbors we must love. 

Passage: Matthew 25:14-30  A focus on what you don't have will always distort your view of what you do have. We all have time, talents, and opportunities that the Lord has given us that we need to steward well. 

Passage: Mark 4:1-20  As we look at the Parable of the Sower we respond in two ways. First, we must evaluate our heart and see what kind of hearers we have proven to be, then as Christians, we need to faithfully accept our call to sow. 

Passage(s): Ephesians 4:1-14  We all have different gifts and abilities from God and we are called to live in unity in the church. We must take steps to grow in godliness and use our talents to build up the body. 

Passage: Galatians 2:15-21  The point of the law is not to justify you, but to condemn you. Our only hope for life and right relationship with God is faith in the risen Christ. 

God disciplines those He loves, and a disciplined life is a fruitful life. Therefore, we must live with a love of discipline.  Passage: Hebrews 12

Passage(s): Ecclesiastes 11:7-12:8 The aim of our lives, approaching the end, must be to glorify God. The anticipation of our lives approaching the end is to be rooted in the unshakeable hope of Christ’s resurrection

Passage(s): Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 The first and most important step to investing your life well is to get in line with what God is doing on the earth! The only way to make the most of your life is to live your life investing in the Kingdom of God through the investing in the people of God!

Passage: 1 Corinthians 15  The heart of the Christian Gospel is that Jesus Christ – the eternal Son of the only God – lived, died, and was raised from the dead so that He could save His people from the power of Sin and Death!

Passage(s): Ecclesiastes 5:8-6:9  Earthly gain will never wholly satisfy nor last beyond the grave. Wealth is a gift to be stewarded for God’s glory, from whom our lasting satisfaction comes.

Passage(s): Ecclesiastes 1:1-11, 3:9-15, 12:13-14  Trying to possess and find meaning in the things of this world is a losing battle, instead, we must receive all the good things God has made as temporary but blessed gifts. The Preacher is telling you that only those who know God can rightly engage with the world that was made by God!
