Debasmita is undoubtedly the most talented singer whom I've known over years .. this ghazal of Ghalib is just another proof of this .. very few artists have this ability to capture the mood of the listener .. Debasmita is one of them .. this is one ghazal which I always wanted her to sing .. and it definitely suits her style of singing ..

I'm uploading this nazm of gulzar .. ye ek nazm bohot ummeed hai jisme .. main jab nahin rahunga tab shaayad phir kisi ek din se koi shakhs utthega .. ye lau jo bujh nahin sakti .. jalti rahegi . Shaharyar ne ye nazm apni biwi najma ke liye likkhi thi .. kitni sundar nazm hai ye .. ek forties ya fifties ki umra ka koi shauhar kitni lazzat se apni family ko dekh raha hai aur ye nazm keh raha hai .. bachpan mein kisi akhbaar se kaat kar ye nazm maine kamre mein chipkaai thi :)

Khushiyon ki manzil dhundi toh gham ki gard mili .. chaahat ke naghme chaahe toh aahein sard mili .. bohot log in ashaaron ke saath connect kar paayenge yakeen hai mujhe .. duniya ke har ek shakhs ki us mohabbat ke naam jo kabhi mukammal nahin hui : )

This poem has solace .. self acceptance .. is poem ko recite karne ka attempt duniya mein kisi ka bhi singular/unique nahin ho sakta .. it will always have an influence of Munir sahab's recitation of this poem .. happy listening :)
