The fire at the corner of W. Main and S. Church streets forced the closure of part of downtown Grass Valley and sent 4 people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Both ordinances can be found online at NevadaCountyCA.gov. The deadline for public comment about the cannabis ordinance is Friday, August 30th. The tiny homes on wheels comment period closes on September 5th.

According to Chico’s Enterprise-Record, Ronnie Dean Stout II, the man accused of starting the Park Fire just over a month ago, plead "not guilty” to a charge of “willful and malicious arson” during his arraignment on Thursday in Butte County Superior Court.
