Last lesson was very intense with the horrors on earth as God unleashes His judgment upon it.  Thankfully in chapter 7 we learn of a positive “seal” compared to the negative seals of chapter 6.  The seals of chapter 6 were locks on the scroll to be opened revealing God’s judgment.  The seal of chapter 7 is God’s protection of a special group called out by God for His special work in the last days....

The Bible talks about The Fall.  A different kind of Fall. As we saw last time, Revelation chapter 6 reveals the Tribulation Period has begun!  It is a most terrible time on earth, involving much war, bloodshed, and death.   Come and See …the very words taken off the pages of Revelation 6, repeated 4 times.  Read  Rev. 6:1-8.   And with that, the Bible invites us to view this horrific time called the Tribulation Period.  Are you ready to “come and see!?”

2nd Kings 4:42-44 Christ fed the multitudes. He is the Great Miracle Worker! Notice how Elisha the prophet points to Christ The Great Prophet. What a miracle here, and we praise God for heat He did here and what He did through Christ! Yet another purpose of this passage is to give great application here for the Church.

A new Act in this end times Drama that God is revealing to us! The tribulation period is covered in Revelation chapter 6-18! From a worldly perspective, this is what makes the book of Revelation scary or very interesting and exciting to people. Many want to study this part! So let's get started with the beginning of the Tribulation!

To have a double portion of God using us and blessing us, we are going to have to live in such a way that sets a good reputation.  We will often need to reprove ungodliness and we need to reveal to others what God has revealed to us in His Word.  When people see you, when people think of your name, do they know you as a servant and as a saint and as a speaker for God!?  If not, your reputation is...

Revelation 4! Another glimpse of Heaven!

We finished Elijah with his going up in a whirlwind, but we are really just getting started with Elisha.  There’s a double portion still to come! 2nd Kings 2:11-18.    What I see in this short passage today is a great contrast of faith and unbelief.  We see the faith of Elisha, but the unbelief of the sons of the prophets.  I want to preach today on this:  Living by Faith.
