After decades of battling neglect and red tape, and 9 years since the John Haynes Memorial Veterans Hall was closed and subsequently tore down, construction began today on the rebuild of the beloved hall. Lisa Music reports.

Humboldt County is using less energy which is a positive thing but it could put the Redwood Coast Energy Authority's budget into the negative. Daniel Mintz reports.
