Kino Klash

Weeeeerrrrrrrreeeee Baaaaaaaaaaaaacccccccckkkkkkkk We been lazy but got quite a back log for ya! And let me be the first to say the Round of 32 is off to an interesting start. We pin Ryan's 12 seed up against Brendans 13 seed.

With the round of 64 concluded, we take a stroll down memory lane and look back at how far we've come. We talk about how our records have shaken out, how we've faired against each other, our most watched directors, and so much more. Thank to Letterboxd, who's certainly not a sponsor (although it'd be pretty cool if they were) for providing us the majority of these statistics under...

In our final match up of the round of 64 we pit Ryan's 8 seed Magnolia up against Kyle's 9 seed Paddington 2.

We pit Alex's 5 seed Eye in the Sky up against Ryan's 12 seed Dr. Strangelove

We pin Kyle's numer 1 seed 1917 vs. Ryan's 16 seed Black Swan. There's also a special guest caller.

We pit Brenden's 3 seed The Cat Returns up against Ryan's 14 seed In Bruges.

It's Kyle's 11 seed Talladega Nights v. Alex's 6 seed Interstellar

Well I certainly didn't stick to that once a week too good. TIME FLIES MY BOYS. We're back on it though don't you worry. Gonna set up automatic recordings. Something I should have been doing the whole time I suppose.  Anyway it's Alex's 4 seed Lost City of Z v. Brenden's 13 seed Better Luck Tomorrow.

Merry Christmas Everybody! Don't you just love Christmas Time? Don't you just feel it can last was long as you want it to? Why it's completely understandable for someone to post a Christmas Special on the 14th of January.  During this magically merry season we THREE kino klashers like to gather around and discuss the high art of Christmas movies. Each of increasing caliber, we'll start with a...

Kyle's 8 seed Citizen Kane v. Brenden's 9 seed Metropolis (2001)

We're back from hiatus klashers! And as an apology for INSULTING you all so we're gonna switch to a weekly release rate for a little while (we'll see how long that lasts). Any way Brenden and Ryan are dumb doo doo heads and are really mean in this one. Shame them next time you see them!

Well it's been a long time coming but the next Kino Klash Bonus Episode is here - this time with special guest star Alex!  We went a bit of a different route this time and chose semi-respectable movies instead of the GODTIER movies we chose in the Christmas Special.  Brenden - Halloween III: Season of the Witch Kyle - Beetlejuice Ryan - Scream Alex - V/H/S 2 And for old time's sake this...

The one where the boys talk about space again.  We were tired of space. That's how much space we'd done.

Special guest Christopher Nolan and Matt Johnson join!

Time for Gumption That's right its the Gump episode ladies and germs. In this match up it's Ryan's number one seed Forrest Gump v. some sorry sack of a movie that's about to get impaled by the man from Alabama. I personally voted we end the bracket at the very start of this episode, but the others wanted to create the illusion of fairness for all who dare stand in the way of this behemoth of film....

David v. Goliath Round 2: Electric Boogaloo

Whoopsie! Only real Kino Klashers can know the TRAGIC mistake that was made upon the original release of this episode. If you know the mistake, give us $5 to upgrade your Kino Klash listening tier!

A Kino Klash of Epic Proportions In this episode we pit Kyle's 15 seed Fellowship of the Ring up against Ryan's 2 seed 2001: A Space Odyssey. This episode will also feature: Brenden claiming 2001 would have been his 3 seed Alex claiming 2001 would have been his 3 seed Maybe a special guest tie-breaker?!?!

Fury of a Scorned Woman This episode pits Kyle's 16 seed Fury v. Brenden's 1 seed Her.  This episode also features: a weird buzzing, probably from Alex's mic we decide which season of the year everyone is Kyle's parrot doesn't nor has it ever felt love

The Dark Knight Returns In this episode we pit Kyle's 4 seed "The Sisters Brothers" up against Ryan's 13 seed "The City of God." Also Brenden returns. He's the Dark Knight. Not the hero we deserve, but the hero we need. Clever descriptions will be returning soon.

Kyle Swallows a Fly There's a fly in this episode. I cannot tell you when or where. Just know that it exists. It may startle you. Thats ok - it's merely a fly. Don't try and kill it, for they are no harbinger of disease although its compatriots may be. To exist, with this fly, is to say "I am not in control." Don't run from it, nor embrace it. For it is just a fly. Just go on, listen to Kino Klash...

Our Villain Emerges In our first ever Kyle v. Alex CLASH we pit Kyle's 14 seed The Hudsucker Proxy up against Alex's 3 seed Whiplash.  This episode will also feature:  A not sponsored ad for Coca-Cola Starlight (Coke please sponsor us) Family Guy. I'm afraid we've lost count of the Snyder Counter again so someone do us a favor and check on that
