Daniel 4,5&6 King Nebuchadnezzar has an encounter with the true God. In the end of his life he repents and humbles himself to God. Chapter 5 is the story of the finger writing on the wall. Chapter 6 is the story of Daniel in the lions den.

Daniel 1,2&3 This is the story of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Chapter 1 the 4 men are recognized for their knowledge, skills and good character. Chapter 2 Daniel interprets the kings dream. Chapter 3 shadrach, Meshach and Abednego are thrown into the fire for not bowing down to the gold statue.

Ezekiel 46,47&48 The climactic ending, in my opinion, is actually chapter 47 verses 1-12. God illustrates how His blessings and glory will pour out in a trickle or a rushing river based on what you need in your life.

Ezekiel 43,44&45 Ezekiel is still experiencing a vision of what is to come. He sees the details of the temple and he sees the presence of God fill and occupy the temple. The vision illustrates how Israel is fully restored and how they are to live.

Ezekiel 40,41&42 This is the shortest podcast episode thus far. God gives Ezekiel a vision in great detail of the dimension and description of the new temple.

Ezekiel 37,38&39 Chapter 37 is the infamous story of the valley of dry bones. God can revive spiritual dead people. Chapter 38 talks about other nations that will attack Israel but God will prevail and then they will know that God is all powerful.

Ezekiel 34,35&36 God gives a beautiful picture of hope and restoration for His people. Is the story of the Israelites just history or does it also illustrate and symbolize parts of our lives? Just as God used Ezekiel as a tool and example does He also use the Israelites as a tool and example for us today?

Ezekiel 31,32&33 Chapter 31&32 speak in detail of the fate of Pharaoh king of of Egypt. Chapter 33 speaks to us directly about how we are to be watchmen in our lives over our loved ones.

Ezekiel 28,29&30 God tells a prophecy of what will happen to king of Tyre, Sidon and king of Egypt.

Ezekiel 25,26&27 God deals with other sinful groups of people and nations. Chapter 26 & 27 deal with Tyre specifically.

Ezekiel 22,23&24 I take many different twists and turns in this episode with commentary on politics, idolatry and spiritual strongholds. God is holding nothing back at calling out all the sins of the people.

Ezekiel 19,20&21 God is so committed to helping the people understand and change their heart. He uses metaphor, history, role play and many other creative ways. Chapter 21 verse 27 gives clue to the coming Messiah.

Ezekiel 16,17&18 God uses metaphors to illustrate the horrible sins Jerusalem has committed. Read Ezekiel 18:31 “Rid yourself of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit.”

Ezekiel 13,14&15 Lots of twists and turns in these 3 chapters. God condemning false prophets, leaving examples to teach the Israelites and so much more.

Ezekiel 10,11&12 God speaks in some of the most amazing ways. Chapter 10 He speakers in a crazy vision. Chapter 11 He speaks to Ezekiel audibly. Chapter 12 He speaks to the exiles in a theater play with Ezekiel as the one man show.

Ezekiel 7,8&9 Possibly 3 of the most powerful chapters in the whole Bible in my opinion. Chapter 7 God describes what will happen to people who don’t repent of their sins. Chapter 8 God showing Ezekiel the sins of the people. Chapter 9 God judgement on the remnants of Israel fulfilled. Most importantly how God sees and protects those that repent. In my opinion this chapter depicts salvation.

Ezekiel 4,5&6 God uses real life illustrations to demonstrate His message. My heart goes out to Ezekiel who had to endure so much to try to convince the people to repent.

Ezekiel 1,2&3 God speaks through the prophet Ezekiel in bizarre and grandiose visions. Read verse by verse and see the awesomeness of the the glory of God.

Lamentations 4&5 So much sorrow and suffering. Lamentations is like a painful love song. I hope you find comfort in knowing that no matter what God still longs for His people.

Lamentations 1,2&3 After the Israelites were exiled to Babylon Jeremiah finally had the chance to express his anguish over their suffering. Jeremiah stayed behind with the poor people left and witnessed their great pain. Even though it is detail of great suffering you clearly see God’s abounding love and compassion.

Jeremiah 51&52 God gives clear detail of what will happen to Babylon. He also explains how Isrrael will be redeemed because God is the Redeemer. Chapter 52 is a summary of how Jerusalem was overtaken by Babylon.

Jeremiah 49&50 God gives prophetic word about the fate of Ammon, Edom, Damascus, Kedar, Hazor, Elam and finally Babylon. Even though God used Babylon to fulfill Israel’s discipline they were still an evil nation that needed to be destroyed.

Jeremiah 46,47&48 God’s amazing grace is reinforced even more in chapters 46,47&48 as God even gives hope to the evil nations. Chapter 46 the destruction of Egypt foretold. Chapter 47 the destruction of Philistines foretold. Chapter 48 the destruction of Moab foretold.

Jeremiah 43,44&45 God’s amazing grace and clear discipline is woven throughout these chapters. The stories of the Israelites are an illustration for us today and about us to learn how to live.

Jeremiah 40,41&42 These chapters tell about the story of the people left in Jerusalem. Jeremiah is with these remnants and they seek his council from the Lord
