Well lads, this is it. We're finally at the end of the UNCLE films. A bittersweet send-off as we watch a genuinely quite solid reboot movie, but one whos' sequel hook will forever remain unfulfilled. CIA guy Napoleon Solo (Massive) finds himself forced to team up with KJB operative Ilya Kuryakin (Massive, also) to find some nazi guy or whatever. I think. ------ Consider supporting us on our reason...

It's fifteen years after the events of the previous film. Napoleon Solo has developed a James Bond inferiority complex (and 500 liver spots) and is playing mid-stakes poker games at 2pm on a weekday. Ilya Kuryakin looks absolutely identical and has opened up a fashion brand catering for stacked 10/10 transgender baddies. The last of the old-school Gay-coded villains laments the modern age. ------...

The film follows a woman trying to find meaning for herself after the death of her son, and the episode of KJB is of a distinctly Hedwig style. Joining us is...

It's the final 60s UNCLE, and it's a fitting send-off. Solo goes on a peyote vision quest, Ilya babysits a wannabe protagonist, and "Waverly is fucking dying. A rogue UNCLE agent has created a secret society based in the LAX Airport Terminal in a desert in the middle of the Himalayas, and he's planning to stop all wars by unleashing the most powerful gas we've ever faced... ------ Consider support...

Abi's away on business (Dome), so it's up to just Alice and Devon to talk about the 2011 Indonesian action film 'The Raid'. A team of cops descend upon a tower block to kill the crime lord on the top floor. All that stands in their way? A million extremely damp guys who all know the martial art Pencak Silat. But we can't handle Dudes Rocking of this calibre alone, so we're joined by the wonderful...

As the Winter of Content comes to a close, we tackle the Wachowski Sisters' 2008 film adaptation of the 1960s anime Mach Gogogo! Recieved badly upon its' initial release, the film has since seen a renaissance and a critical reappraisal as a musing on art, artists, cycles of trauma, and what it truly means to create art under a capitalist system. It's also a movie about racing cars SO fast ------ T...

This week we're joined by Komodo Dad from War_Takes to discuss the classic 1992 Legal Thriller that features Jack Nicholson yelling 'YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH!'. It's time for yet more UNCLE! This week we meet not one, but TWO Bond Villains as they get their various pussy-getting problems solved by Ilya and Solo. Finding it difficult to describe this one, honestly. It's like three consecutive episodes of a Samurai show but where the only problem he solves is that someone isn't getting enough pussy. ------ THE WINTER OF CONTENT If you do feel you have money...

Gentlemen, Ladies, whatever else: It's time to finally return to Old Man Connery. This week, we're joined by Dr Arthur Asseraf , Lecturer in the history of France and the Francophone World at the University of Cambridge. Dr Asseraf is a historian of North Africa, France, and the Mediterranean, which makes him perfectly suited to explain to us the terrible movie 'The Wind and The Lion', a vaguely t...

It's time to once again venture into the uncharted territory of the Man from UNCLE. It's finally time for more UNCLE! In this one, Ilya is chasing pussy all over soho, while Napoleon gets swept up in intrigue involving Milfs, Evil Rodney Dangerfield, and the return of Cal Bolder. It's girls night! That's right, Alice and Abi are flying solo and are excited to do their makeup, talk about boys (female) and watch a girly film... wait a minute, Devon swapped the DVD out for Robocop 2 before they left! That bastard.  In a futuristic 90s Detroit, the experimental "half man, half robot, all cop" Robocop has been incredibly effective. Desperate to recapture the success of Robocop,...
