Kevin Kietzman Has Issues

We learned Thursday that Bill Self was taken to the hospital again for another heart procedure making it at least three times in four years.  A full recovery is expected after two more stents were inserted.  But what we didn't know is that Self has been coaching with a PICC line... a catheter to deliver medicine and nutrition to his heart.  We have the details and the ask the big question about...

The reaction from the same media that promoted Trump/Russia collusion for years is now suddenly saying there's nothing to see there and we shouldn't even be talking about it.  Incredible... but predictable.    Missouri Senator Josh Hawley is escorted off stage after terrorist supporting pro-Palestine protesters interrupt his speech.  If these people aren't citizens, they should be sent to Allig...

After the Kansas Board of Regents ordered all DEI eliminated from state universities there was still a question if KU would try to resist the directive.  But on Tuesday, KU Chancellor Doug Girod issued a memo to all employees emphatically directing them to dump pronouns and a whole bunch of other crazy stuff by July 31.  What a great day for KU!    Tariff deals are in place now with the Philipp...

Javier Milei is the new president of Argentina and many are describing him as Trump on steroids.  He's made hundreds of big moves already, but his latest Article 209 could be the most influential.  Let's hope what's happening in Argentina will happen in America.     Former ESPN broadcaster Sage Steele unloads on her former employer for silencing her about women's issues as it pertains to men co...

What a week of football as we are sandwiched between an ugly Chiefs loss and a record setting KU Bowl Game win.  Stan Weber is here for all of it as we ask what KU can be next year, what the Chiefs can be in the playoffs and preview the bowl games for Kansas State and Mizzou.    It's all in one place.  Then, we tell the amazing story of a $5 wager on football pocketing nearly $500k.  It's the F...

The Chiefs were absolutely awful against the Raiders on Sunday despite another epic performance by the defense.  For the second week in a row, all the offense had to do was not LOSE the game.  But they did.  And Patrick Mahomes is more to blame than anyone as he handed 14 points to the Raiders.  Mahomes has become Lamar Jackson and everyone in this town is afraid to say it out loud, choosing in...

It's all happy and positive and sports stuff on this final episode before Christmas as me and Jess want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season.    Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker is the man we all want to be as he blames himself for the missed kick last week with a ball that should have never been in play. This guy rocks.  Then, Mahomes is #1 again and Rashee Rice is one of t...

It's pretty hard to make a former president and billionaire look like a victim but the Dems have found a way by bouncing Trump off the ballot in Colorado.  Now more states want to drop him, just like the racist Dems did in 1860 when they kept Abe Lincoln off the ballot in 10 states.  It's time for America to learn history and the Constitution.     Far left staffers for Kansas Governor Kelly wan...

The Colorado Supreme Court, outrageously, has kicked President Trump of the ballot in a total embarrassment that will backfire in the Rocky Mountain state.  This is just nuts and won't last long.   Senator JD Vance just unloads on a reporter to set her straight on the role of journalism vs activism.  We have the audio.   If you're a last minute shopper like me, we've got some steals and deals fo...

The Washington Post has written a "research" piece about who plays youth football in America and the headline should read, "Only Dumb Losers Play Football".  You have to hear this story as the left will do anything to bring this sport down.    A podcaster named Luke Rudkowski articulated something I've been trying to say for a couple years, the Dems are working on a disaster for 2024 to help th...

After my thoughts on the Chiefs winning and teasing us all there might be something better yet to be seen and our college hoops weekend wrap up, Stan Weber joins us to break it all down.    Will Patrick Mahomes fix his issues to overcome the double whammy of a wobbly receiving corps?  Why is Travis Kelce flopping for the refs instead of trying to make a play? And, do the Chiefs need to run the...

The Chiefs are trying to say the right things this week but it's all sounding a bit too campy.  The rally cry?  "We're going to try harder now."  Sorry if it makes us feel a little ripped off.    Newly married Tyreek Hill has double baby mama drama in Miami with two lawsuits filed against him for child support.  If you're keeping track, he's got 5 babies in multiple states and says he wants to...

It's only fitting a train wreck of a man like Hunter Biden gets in front of the cameras and wrecks a train.  What a hot mess this guy is.    Roger Goodell finds humor in the Chiefs complaints about officiating and Mizzou's football schedule looks completely different next year.   Then, a great conversation with Kansas State Senator Mike Thompson, your favorite former tv meteorologist.

A bombshell poll is out from Heartland/Rasmussen that reveals at least 1 in 5 Americans that voted by mail in 2020 admit to committing voter fraud.  The numbers are staggering as a total of 67 million votes were cast via mail or absentee methods and the different ways people cheated, knowingly or unknowingly, is alarming.  This is a huge story and I can't believe nobody is reporting.  Absentee...

About 5 games in Patrick Mahomes first year as starter, I devoted an entire radio show to the topic that the Chiefs will become the most hated team in the NFL.  We've seen it coming and now it's true.  The reaction nationally to the Chiefs toddler tantrum party Sunday is almost universal and fans everywhere are turning on their tv's to root for whoever is playing the Chiefs.     And how in the...

The Chiefs had one of the greatest plays of all time negated by a penalty Sunday that likely cost them a win over the Bills.  But instead of owning the stupidity of lining up off sides, the Chiefs think they are entitled to some sort of special treatment.  It's a really, really bad look.    Stan is here to break it all down and take us around the NFL.  Then we talk about Stan's good friend Coll...

https://omny.fm/shows/pete-mundo-kcmo-talk-radio-103-7fm-710am/kevin-kietzman-in-studio-for-an-hour-12-8-23 It was really great to spend an hour in studio with my friend Pete Mundo Friday morning on KCMO Talk Radio 95.7 FM.  We talked about all kinds of topics and actually disagreed on a few.  We thought you may enjoy it and I know you will enjoy his show and their station, especially now that...

In a stunning show of evil, the White House is threatening to send American troops to be killed in Ukraine if Congress doesn't approve billions and billions more to send to Zelensky.  Biden's lieutenants are just as sick and twisted as he is.  Is this the huge election year distraction attempt to keep them in power?   For the first time in over a decade, the Missouri Tigers visit Allen Field Ho...

The Republican debates without Donald Trump have seemed like a total joke.  Until last night.  These things actually served a purpose as Ron DeSantis has clearly separated himself from the others.  I'd be all for the others bailing and let voters decide if they want Trump or DeSantis on the ballot.  Oh, and pitbull Vivek Ramaswamy has done us all a HUGE favor the past few months.  I'll explain....

Joe Biden is now literally on record saying what everyone is thinking.... he doesn't really want to run for re-election.  The fact he said it and why is every reason to count him out.  Meanwhile, Trump says Biden won't make it to the finish line and if he challenged Trump to go behind the barn to whip is ass, Trump could blow him over with a soft whimper.    A conservative actor you probably lo...

It's pretty clear now the Chiefs are experiencing something they are not handling at all.  With distractions everywhere, Andy Reid says the team isn't turning its back on each other but it's more important now than ever to be "united."   Well, there's plenty of reasons the Chiefs are distracted and the bigger the name, the bigger the distraction.  And that includes a head coach probably questio...

Patrick Mahomes had two drives in the 4th quarter to win a game and came up short twice.  The magic is gone but that doesn't mean the magic is over.  Stan Weber explains what it will take now for the Chiefs to become a real title contender.    The bowl matchups are out for Mizzou, KSU and KU and the College Football Playoff is set but has everyone scratching their head.   Then, a record setting...

The season of giving is here and between your favorite Christmas movies and shopping for presents, let's all remember others that may not be in a position to give.  Whether it's a donation at your church, volunteer service or dropping a few bucks in the kettle at the store... it's time for all of us to give.    Christmas Shining Star is a wonderful holiday charity in Kansas City and St. Joseph...

It was fun watching Ron DeSantis win the debate against Gavin Newsom on issues, record and truth.  But, unfortunately, the voters that swing elections don't really care about trivial things like that.  We break down how this debate may have moved the needle if these were the two candidates 10 months or 4 years from now.    Every week, two or three celebrity or famous Dems are saying publicly th...

It's impossible to believe in just over 3 years more than 50,000 have subscribed to this podcast.  It's hard to give enough thanks, especially since we didn't even have a clue if anyone would listen at all.    610 Sports Radio broke some news as they say a "stadium insider" tells them Jackson County is likely to lose the Royals and Chiefs.  Now, I'm not sure that "insider" is right as I believe...
