Kevin Kietzman Has Issues

There is no song of the week this Friday but music is still a vibe.    A whole bunch of KKHI Patrons loved the segment we did about Ozzy Osbourne's unbelievable life and we will share it with all of you now.  It's the kind of thing we do on Patron Podcasts if you'd like to join.    Then, drummer Billy Brimblecom is long time friends with Jason Sudeikis and the two of them invented Thundergong. ...

It's the Football Feast as it appears all systems are go for the Chiefs.  Rashee Rice will be out for 6 so the sledding just got tougher.  But we've seen this movie before.  Stan Weber has some thoughts on Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh dealing with distraction as the opening is just a little over a week away.    Then, what a treat.  Mizzou Thursday, KU Friday and K-State on Saturday.  The Tigers...

As fate would have it, Trav and Tay are engaged the day before I was ready to post a pod about all of us falling in love with her.  After she appeared on "New Heights" podcast, I opened the radio hour reminding all of us about how sweet she is, how much she loves her man and how much she HATES our politics.  Maybe she's going to change, I think there is a chance.   But what unfolded on air was w...

It's not getting much publicity but Super Bowl winning coach Jon Gruden is making real strides in court to get "uncancelled" by the coaching world.  We won't judge whether Gruden is a boy scout but the NFL made quite a reach going after Gruden when he was not an NFL employee.  The lawsuit moves on and Gruden has won at every turn so far.    Then, it's got to be really hard to be in traditional...

It's your Monday podcast on a Sunday as Spencer Kietzman joins us to catch up with all the KKHI listeners and talk a little football.    It was a disaster for K-State as they lose the game, lose a player and lose the internet as the quarterback's dad and brother get in a fight on the streets of Dublin and it goes viral.  Ouch.    KU's new stadium was rocking almost as good as the team as the Ha...

It's the Football Feast and a first at KKHI... we have international play and a pair of local teams playing in Week Zero of college football.  Stan Weber breaks down the matchup for K-State and KU and shares his thoughts on the Chiefs/Bears at Arrowhead.

Sam McDowell of the KC Star reports that a bullet was shot through the window of Andy Reid's office in May of 2024 while Andy was in the room.   Why would it take 18 months for this story to get out?  The timing is curious to say the least, we have a couple theories.    JD Vance is speaking out about bringing Elon Musk back into the Republican Party and according to reports, Musk is on board. ...

Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach has filed a brief with a federal court to stop governor Laura Kelly from suing President Trump.  Things must be really fun these days in Topeka.    Donald Trump wants his big, beautiful border wall to be smoking hot.  RFK Jr. has a really good reason why he wears jeans to lift weights at the gym.  Fox News anchor Bret Baier got caught on video getting a littl...

A week ago, I shared with you that I had information about the Royals and Chiefs plans for new ballparks but couldn't confirm it with the proper source.  So I shared the information with our Patrons at KKHI who were blown away.  Now, the President of the Kansas Senate has stated it publicly.  Officials in Topeka and Jeff City believe both teams are heading to Kansas.    The Royals are rolling.....

We have all seen media jump on board and all say the exact same talking points over and over and over.  But now, it seems the talking point from Dems in the media is that the party is dead.  It's like a funeral playing over and over.  Hilarious.    Peace talks come to DC Monday as leaders from Europe, and Zelenskyy, will meet with President Trump.    You won't believe what happened with a truck...

Trump's Department of Education is going after four school districts in Kansas for supporting all the creepy and immoral sex change issues at school.  Shawnee Mission, Olathe and KCK districts are three of the four and it seems to me there is something else in play here.    I gotta get to www.robertsrobinson.com and see if they can dial up one of these new ICE vehicles Trump just debuted on the...

Trav and Tay share on microphone on the New Heights podcast and Tay Tay was actually very funny.... at the expense of her sometimes simple boyfriend.  We have one hilarious story for you.    Donald Trump not only has taken over the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, he's taking over the honors show as the Host!  And, they are honoring all kinds of great conservatives.    Tom Homan makes it...

As we get ready to celebrate five years of www.kkhasissues.com, I decided to do something Tuesday we have never, ever done before.  I recorded a patron podcast with incredible, detailed information that may shock you about what the Royals and Chiefs have decided for new stadium sites and/or renovations.  It's not sourced enough to do on the public podcast or radio but its the kind of informatio...

A local owner affiliated with a possible ballpark for the Royals is the new owner of the land at 119th and Nall.  I'm sure they'd love to have a stadium there but, if not, it's obviously a potentially great purchase for a company in the real estate business.    Trump's DC takeover has Dems hopping mad.  A whistleblower turned in Adam Schiff for giving orders to dems to leak fake info about Trum...

The Chiefs starters, in an oh so brief appearance, looked sharp Saturday night against the Cardinals.  It's a good start and we'll break down who was good, who was bad and who got hurt.    The rest of the league was interesting to watch to see new quarterbacks, old qbs in new places and who has such status they sat out.  We even saw a 70 yard field goal!    The Royals finish the road trip 4-5 a...

Andy Reid says Patrick Mahomes will start in the first pre season game at Arizona Saturday night, even as most other teams are not playing their QB1.  They tried it in Indy and lost their starting quaterback to injury right away.    In LA, the Chargers made their left tackle the highest paid lineman in the game last week.  Then, Rashawn Slater suffers a season ending injury.  This game is bruta...

The Royals got a great win in Boston on Wednesday night, incredibly, it's their 10th straight win in the final game of a series.  The whole thing was caught on film as a popular CBS television crime drama was filming at Fenway for an episode this fall.    The NFL coughing up the NFL Network for 10% equity in ESPN is one of the great deals of all time.  The NFL Network lost a lot of money over t...

We have a pair of lead stories today as Edward Coristine, aka Big Balls of DOGE, is assaulted on the streets of DC.  Trump needs to take over the district ASAP.... this is the deal breaker.   And a member of congress admits treason in a speech saying she is a "proud Guatemalan before I'm an American."      KCMO host Pete Mundo gets robbed at the gym... wait until you hear how dumb the thief is....

The Department of Justice is convening a Grand Jury as they investigate the Russia hoax.  It's believed this will take place in Florida but don't get too excited that you'll see Barack Obama in an orange jumpsuit any time soon.    Sydney Sweeney has now been outed as full on Republican and this likely explains why the left went nuts about her jeans commercial.  But sweet Syd is just a reflectio...

In one of the most shocking stories of 2025, CNN reports that Donald Trump is now so influential in all things America, he may just be one of the strongest presidents of all time.  We'll play it for you, it's so good.    A soccer fan in St. Louis is booted from his home team's game for wearing a MAGA hat.  Uh oh.    There's a new, diabolical kind of pain being inflicted on those who finish last...

The Royals spoke loud and clear at the trade deadline that they will not sit still.  The Royals have added outfield help for this year and pitching for now and the next couple years.  In the process, we wave goodbye to Freddie Fermin who is very close to Salvador Perez.  That's why, right after Fermin, Salvy was the first to know about the trade.    Harrison Butker spoke at a news event with Pr...

We had a wild day in our neighborhood yesterday as Homeland Security, NOT ICE, raided a Mexican restaurant a couple blocks away from us.  Protesters showed up and it was a total freak show.  What's worse?  The KC media botched this story on so many levels its frightening.  It was not an ICE raid, the restaurant was not in danger of burning to the ground and there was not panic or disorder.  I w...

It's becoming a trend for Missouri Senator Josh Hawley to offer up ideas that sound just like a democrat.  His latest is poorly timed and needs to be tossed to the back burner.    ICE is looking for 10,000 new agents and employees and they are offering a $50k signing bonus to join. Count me in on this program... let's get the best of the best.    President Trump's granddaughter Kai is a college...

President Trump has signed an executive order banning third parties from paying college athletes to attend a school.  NIL is still in play beginning next year but paying just to select a school is supposedly out the window or your school risks losing federal funding.  Stan's back to discuss IF this will work and where college football is headed with expanding conferences and a power play betwee...

The Football Feast is back in a big way as all the teams around KC have reason to believe this year is about to be epic.  The Chiefs look to improve on a season that had them on the brink of history, Mizzou looks for another 10 win season with a new QB, K-State has the most accomplished player in is class at the helm and KU finally gets to play some home games with the coolest end zones in the...
