Being out for 6 weeks is a long time no matter which way you slice it. Even on a luxury cruise ship you can get cabin fever, in your own head and def get stir crazy. 

Felt like I was on another planet in another time. Maybe 1700's? 

Never thought I'd be in Tonga, but a beautiful island with resilient people. Volcano and tsunami rocked their kingdom earlier this year. 

Island hopping in the Gulf of Mexico and beyond. So much history. Just a collision of cultures. 

Hanging with Billy Ocean in the Caribbean. The last thing these happy people need is comedy. 

First week down in Miami. I'm very out of sorts. Hope something here makes sense. Cruise life is a trip. Lit and fig. World of fantasia, but can also be nightmarish if you let your mind wander too much. Gotta stay centered. 

Hitting the water for six weeks. Miami and then Australia. Freedom and independence? Or isolation? 

Wiped out after several parties celebrating my 50th. Serotonin depleted. Moving forward, trying to initiate ideas more than just keeping them on a pedestal.

Finally turning 50 this week. I think I'm okay with it. If I'm not I'm sure nature will turn time back for me so I can be ready. Country club gigs remain a nightmare. Feels good to get to 100 episodes. We'll have a 100 episode party on Saturday at Bistro K. 

Got caught in a double booking situation this week where my decision left me nauseous. Alaska cruise was amazing. Really enjoying stand up these days. 

All over the place once again. Shows, travel, experiences. Finished shooting pilot this weekend in Austin. Shows in very different atmospheres all week. Americans seem to be welcoming stand up like never before in the search of something more real than networks can offer.

Got to open for Don McMillan of America's Got Talent this weekend at Brea Improv. Just a great comic. So interesting to watch someone who's figured it out. He stayed in the game.

I cover pre-season football and my own family's glory of co-ed softball prominence lead by my mother's tutelage and love. 

Been slammed but that's no excuse. Somehow juggling day job and busier stand up career. 

Back on a cruise ship after 2.5 years felt amazing. Got seasick but learned a lot about myself. Cruises are fun overall but shows are really difficult. Love the travel though. Have your head examined for reading this. 

Going back out on a cruise ship for first time since pandemic. Nervous AF about doing a longer show for first time in a long time. Just got to lean into it and be present. 

Last minute gig with David Spade last night in San Diego at the Balboa Theatre was a blast. Hope to work with he and Bobby Miyamoto again. 

Historical look at past occupations and how it relates to Ukraine and Russia of today. 

Recorded this one in me mum's garage in Chandler, AZ so there's a slight echo. Had a great week performing in Arizona with three greats: Louie CK, Joe Gatto and Greg Behrendt!

Weekend in DTSD with Chad Daniels doing a great club. There's a difference in how these show rooms are laid out.

Filling our time and lives with clutter gives a nice excuse to not get anything done or be held accountable. Great plan!

Louie was great. We'd exchange Godfather emails since he was a huge fan as well. An infinite source of wisdom, a fine comic and lovely human. I hadn't talked to him since I left LA a year ago, but will miss him and cherish memories with him. He treated every comic well. 

Year wrap up on 2021 and beginning of 2022. What better way to kick it off, than Pittsburgh. Attended Big Ben's final home game in freezing temperature. Met Rocky Bleier. Ate Primanti Bros several times.
