Ke Alaka'i: The Podcast

Levi and Michael talk to Ke Alaka'i's art director Katie Mower! Katie talks about her job and her recent field trip to New York with the Ke Alakai staff. She explains how it was to listen to famous comedian Roy Wood Jr talk about nowadays journalism and meet nominated, investigative journalists Jodi Kantor and Megan Thwohey who uncovered the Harvey Weinstein case. 

This week on the podcast Levi and Kylee meet with Dr. Rand Blimes to discuss Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Dr. Blimes explains what led up to this, explains some of the current situation, and offers ways people can get involved to help.

Hannah talks about her upcoming project which helps girls in the Laie community and on campus report sexual abuse, dating violence and any other form of abuse to the Title IX office. The Kula Manu is BYUH's literary journal and features poetry, short stories, non-fiction, photography and art in its yearly issues. The deadline for submissions is March 7.
