Everyone is called to ministry and equipped by the Holy Spirit to do good works not for the benefit of the church but for the common good. This week we talk about affirming those gifts in ourselves and others, the blessing of giving ourselves away, and the joy of working together for the common good.

In our new worship series, " A People Called" we talk about some of the different names and callings we may have. We start out this week with A People Called Good and talk about what it means for us to be made in the sacred image of God, called good by God, and called to good by God.

We're reveling in some Easter season joy as we talk about the beautiful moments in Holy Week and Easter Sunday, and what it means to be resurrection people here and now.

This week we celebrate our 100th episode by talking about the celebration of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, or Palm Sunday! We also dig deeper what kind of King Jesus is, what power really is, and the freedom that we've learned and experienced looking at the life and ministry of Jesus before the cross.

Some of our favorite Bible stories are the wild, weird, and totally unexpected and the scripture from worship this week is no different. We talk a look at the story of Lazarus, his death and resurrection, and what it we learn about who God is through the example Jesus gives of resurrection before the cross.

After a week off for Spring Break, we catch up with our Before the Cross worship series talking about both what it means for Jesus to bear our sins and what is the good news before the cross.

What is salvation and what does it mean to be "saved" before the cross? This week we talk about what's "saving us" right now and what it means for the saving work of God to be happening here and now.

What is forgiveness and what does it mean for God to forgive us before Jesus goes to the cross? As we start the season of Lent we talk about the life and ministry of Jesus "Before the Cross". We talk about forgiveness as a way, or condition, of living in our faith and what that can look like for us as individuals, families, and communities.

Today is Ash Wednesday and the start of Lent, a somber season of reflection, repentance, and preparation for Holy Week and Easter. We talk about this past Sunday and the Transfiguration of Jesus, when his full divinity is revealed in dazzling light and with a voice from heaven. As we wrap up our Off Course worship series, we discuss the beauty of living fully present in the now. By "not wasting the music" we can enjoy the powerful and active presence of God around us all the time and share that gift with those around us too.

Dr. Ashely Boggan, the General Secretary for the Commission on Archives and History for The United Methodist Church, was our Coen Conference speaker and gave an inspiring and thought-provoking sermon Sunday about what it means to say the Methodists Make History. We discuss social holiness, how our faith is what we practice not just what we profess, and how we can meet the moment we are in now.

Disruptions abound in life- from icy cold fronts moving across the country to everyday "speed bumps". As we continue our conversation about being Off Course, we look at Matthew 5 and what the Beautitudes can show us about who God is and the kind of disruption that comes from the Kingdom of God drawing near to us now.

It's easy to get dangerously off-course if you don't have good guardrails, or boundaries. But how can we know when and where to set a boundary and when to break through them? Jesus provides a good example of what it means to withdraw invites us to live lightly in the "unforced rhythms of grace".

As we continue in our Off Course sermon series, we talk about the baptism of Jesus and what it means for us as the Body of Christ. The waters of baptism are a place of forgiveness and repentance, as well as a place of freedom and renewal. And they are the place we can always return to because of the faithfulness of God.

As we end Christmas and celebrate Epiphany, we are also starting a new worship series- Off Course. We'll talk about the winding road that leads us from point a to point b and finding just enough light to take the first steps on your journey.

As Christmas Eve gets closer, we look back at all of Advent and talk about what it has meant to us this year and what we hope to take into the new year.

As we continue into week 2 of Advent and the Wild Hope of John's prophetic voice, today we talk about the way John prepares the way for Christ. What does it mean to prepare to see the presence of God in our midst? And what transformation do we need this Advent to be able to preach the Good News of Jesus with our lives?
