I read this story in a book tattvaloka written by Smt. Anuraradha. The story had a extra twist and a subtle moral which was interesting. The idol of Ravana with ten heads ( each head showing different expression was done in 2021 by my son Arvind Neelakantan. All materials used are recycled plastic bottles and containers.

Mareecha misleads Sri Rama to a far away place. He is killed by SriRama. But mareecha cries out loud in Rama's voice. This makes Sita to believe that Rama is in trouble. Though lakshmana assures about Rama' s valour she is convinced that lakshmana has evil intentions about her and Rama. And persuades lakshmana to go and help Rama leaving her back at the ashram.
