I talk with writer and creator Allison Dickson about how the media influences how we view True Crime. We watch shows like CSI or Bones and watch cop and legal shows. Now we consume podcasts and other documentaries. So the question I ask along with others, is do we get an unrealistic view from media about what actually happens in police investigations and then once it goes to trial.
