March 28, 2022. The encounter between Jesus and the royal official in Cana took place at the seven hour of the day - 1 PM - and at the same time in Capernaum, 40 km away from Cana, the cure of the dying boy took place. With what speed does the Word of Christ travel? (On John 4:43:54).

"A man had two sons" (Luke 15:11), the Pharisees and scribes - the older son, and the tax collectors and sinners - the younger son. (Reflection for the Fourth Sunday of Lent - Year C).

The Church celebrates Solemnity of The Annunciation of the Lord, God prepared a body for his Son in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The scribes were experts in Jewish law and the Pharisees devoted themselves to the meticulous fulfillment of the law. It seems that you could not aim higher than them. (On Matthew 5:20-26).

God is presented as a loving Father who knows best what his children need and he is more than willing to provide for them. Matthew 7:7-12.

We are familiar with the story of Jonah, that rebellious prophet who didn’t want to go to the enemies of his people to preach the word of God to them. Luke 11:29-32.

Christian prayer should differ from a prayer of Gentiles because our God is unlike any other god. Matthew 6:7-15

The idea of judgment over the nations appears already in the Old Testament, and the criterion of that judgment is how these nations treated Israel. Matthew 25:31-46.

Reflection for the First Sunday of Lent - Year C.
