All my own AI assisted tracks, are free to download. I do not monetise any of these tracks; I do however claim copyright in all but a few of the lyrics and the music in many of the lyricsI have been writing songs "on and off" since1959 until the present. As a songwriter, I write purely for the pleasure it gives me. I have always been pleased with my songs which have been mainly from genres such as folk/blues, rock and roll and general pop (in the style of the sixties). My musical skills are quite limited and the early demos on Soundcloud, prior to two years ago, are of me singing and accompany...

Feel The Groove (cover) 17.01.2026 4:14
One of three tracks, of this genre, which I created in the late 80's using software called Acid Forge. I believe it may have been taken over and developed since then... Basically it consisted of a piano roll which allowed samples to be used to build up a multi-track song, easily. I spent a short time experimenting with the software and creating songs, often using lots of copy and paste methods to...

My uke is gonna see me thru the day 15.01.2026 4:12
Another cover; listening to some of my "Archive" tracks, I came across this song. Sort of special to me as the first song I wrote after I first bought a ukulele some 12 years ago. I had almost given up writing songs and had spent some time painting as an alternative hobby. I had bought a uke and joined a newly opened ukulele club. Well the uke is acknowledged as a happy instrument and it certainly...
Dance All NIght Long (doodle4) Cover 14.01.2026 3:20
The last of the first batch of "Keyboard tracks" from my archives. They were all written by myself and were Single finger compositions, experimenting with my oldest son's keyboards. Auto rhythm tracks used for backing. They were all recorded on C -60 tape cassetteson a karaoke machine, in the 70's. recorded I have a similar number of tracks which were recorded a few years later as his collection o...
Make It Right Again 13.01.2026 4:10
At last a new song, after all these covers, etc. I started writing a country rock song but not sure Suno has quite caught the style - however I do like it. The lyrics took me longer to compete than usual, and seem to me to be a little forced - any comments?
We'll Meet Again (part 3) anniversary - cover 11.01.2026 4:15
I just had to put a strings behind this song, as an experiment, hope you like it.
I Don't Want you back- cover 10.01.2026 3:26
Another cover, of a track posted last year after using Suno V3 (?). I was not satisfied by the outcome, still over-awed by results at that time, and thought I could do better with v5. It is a little bit incongruous in that it is a happy song (an new start rather than a failure ) after time trying to make a relationship work. I hope it works for you, I have to admit I like this version much better.
Dance Time (doodle3 Cover) 09.01.2026 2:24
Taking a day off with the real work to catch up a little, with those "doodled" keyboard tunes from old analogue recordings, find more on the album.
The Song Of My Life (ukulele) cover 08.01.2026 4:25
I was listening to some of my songs (I do that a lot, nowadays) and did not remember having finished this in Suno. I decided to put that right, how did I forget one of my all-time favourite songs? After a little exploring my Suno assisted work on Sound Cloud, I did find a version of the song but with a female singer. Now I had a very useable version of me singing to me playing a uke already on Sou...
Walking On Thin Ice 06.01.2026 4:50
Snowed this morning, artic winds made the snow freeze. Great subject for a song? Well I thought so but the title changed as I considered the lyrics, though I think this makes a better metaphor for a tricky relationship. Hope you like it?
HOW MANY FACES cover (extended instrumentals) 06.01.2026 5:42
As promised on my last upload, here is a different version with extended instrumental sections; and less vocal repetition. For interest, other aspects of the prompting were exactly similar.
HOW MANY FACES cover 02.01.2026 5:38
One of my songs. I originally Put through Suno as a jazz number. It is on Soundcloud but it was really experimental, and so decided to try to cover it as an alternative rock number. I am quite satisfied with this version but will be uploading an alternative as my next upload; much the same but with extended instrumental sections - too good not to use. Anyway, hope you like this and as ever, all co...
Baubles And Blue skies 01.01.2026 3:24
What can I say? I was amazed to discover that I had not covered this song during my time with Suno. Only written a few years ago, and one of my favourites. I thought I had covered "ALL" of the songs I had thought worthwhile - now I am having to check back over the last 21 months or so. Still just think of the fun I will have! This track is a cover of my original demo, just me and my ukulele so of...
Already Gone 28.12.2025 5:09
Prompted by a stress reducing (?) saying. "Forget the past, it's already gone". I wrote the lyric about a couple whose relationship was on the rocks (not auto biographical, which I really don't do) where one of the couple was trying to say that only the present was important.
You And I 25.12.2025 3:34
Two lonely people meet an they quickly discover an affinity to each other. This was completed over the Christmas period and I have several versions, notably a male/female duet which I also really like. Watch out for this to be posted very shortly. A completely different song in the two versions.
I awoke from a dream 23.12.2025 4:42
My first new song for a while, maybe a couple of weeks or even three. This due to illness in family and getting ready for Christmas. But you can't keep a good dog down. From a deep sleep and a "so realistic" dream, once awake the sleeper realises that all is still the same.
Until It's Time For You To Go (cover-doodle 7) 09.12.2025 4:18
This is a cover of a classic song, written in 1965 by Buffy St Marie, I tried singing this song during my experiments with the keyboards - and soon gave up the idea of playing and singing. I posted my initial cover of this song on my playlist/album, "The Coming Of The Keyboards". Love the song - hated my cover. But in the spirit of examining the abilities of Suno, I then covered that cover and hav...
I can Forgive, But Can Never Forget 08.12.2025 5:01
[Verse] Whispers filled the empty space. You told me stories, they had no face, Said it meant nothing, just a mistake. But my heart knows of no escape [Pre-chorus] A shadow falls A memory calls [Chorus] I can forgive, but never forget. That ghost lingers, in my heart yet. My trust it took, the hardest hit, I can forgive, but never forget. [Verse 2] The scent of her perfume, tho’ a tiny trace, Left...
She Didn't Even Look at Me 07.12.2025 4:01
Oh... I have had this title in my head for the past week. Just couldn't do anything with it, hence the number of "EDM/dance inspired" instrumentals these past few days. I don't often give up with a lyric but maybe to persistent rain pushed me over the edge. A long walk often works to get me writing... But Suno came up with this lyric when I prompted with the title. I was really amazed , not a situ...
You Make Me Wanna Dance (doodle2 Cover) 06.12.2025 4:34
A cover of an improvised, track as part of an experiment with a borrowed keyboard. BTW, the track from Suno was much shorter than the original. But then, I couldn't choose which track to use for this upload - so I actually stitched two of them together in audacity. The first a very shortened version was quite quiet so matched it with a version which built up very nicely to give a climax.
You Were Here Only Yesterday (doodle8voc) 06.12.2025 3:57
This is one of two vocals on the abum. Recorded in the same way, with that "one finger" keyboard backing plus the auto rythm/bass. I had problems with singing and playing at the same time and I guess this was the real reason I did not percevere with keyboards and returned to the guitar. However, it is not obvious from the Suno cover, a real indication of the coping skills of the AI engine. On the...
Dance, Dance, Dance (doodle6 Cover) 05.12.2025 3:29
Yet one more cover of one of my very early keyboard improvisations, recorded on cassette using a karaoke m/c.
Difficult Roads 03.12.2025 3:31
Not my usual "happy place" when writing but this sort grew out of a n inspiring quote I happened to come across - always open to a good title/idea. In fact there were 2-3 quotes along the same lines (roughly) which I borrowed. Although after completion I did have to listen to the song a few times before deciding to post it here. Kinda reminds me of a TV interview of David Bowie I watched bac in th...
Born To Dance (doodle15 remix ) 30.11.2025 3:03
I am so used to lyrics, I am getting into a right mix with these few remixed/covered keyboard compositions - about a quarter of those planned in the short term. Plus, I I am finding it difficult to make a choice after I have generated multiple iterations with Suno. Wonder if I should put words to them? You will notice a similarity in the titles of these tracks - it is on purpose and all will be on...
