Sonic returns to the big screen in the sequel to the very successful first film. Along for the ride this time is Tails, as well as Knuckles - joining forces with the brilliant Jim Carrey as he once again has a blast portraying Dr Robotnik. The first was a huge surprise, and one that I really enjoyed – but did the sequel reach the same heights, or even surpass the first?

Sony’s next spin off brings Dr Michael Morbius to the big screen. On announcement, I wasn’t sure how this would work and its clear within the film, that neither did Sony. In a word, it’s a mess. Full thoughts in this episode.

With a great concept and stellar cast including Jake Gyllenhaal, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Eiza González, it seems that the film could’ve been a surprise – however, sadly it wasn’t to be. In this extended episode, I’m revisiting and discussing the infamous Batman v Superman. The theatrical cut wasn’t great, but the unrated version changes the film massively and mostly positively. It’s hard not to enjoy seeing Batman and Superman do battle – but the film does have its dips. With that, let’s dive in!

Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds collaborate once again to bring us 'The Adam Project' - the latest time travel, sci-fi flick to hit Neflix this last week. With some great special effects and a fantastic duo in Reynolds and Walker Scobell (playing a younger Reynolds very well), 'The Adam Project' has more highs than it does lows. From the films fantastic sets and aesthetics, to the brilliant performances from Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano and many more, Matt Reeves has delivered a stunning cinema experience – and for me, possibly the best portrayal of the caped crusader yet. Jim Broadbent stars as Kempton Bunton, the mastermind behind the infamous heist, where the Goya painting of the Duke of Wellington was stolen from the National Gallery. Alongside Helen Mirren, this film has so much heart and warmth that you can’t help but enjoy. Broadbent, as usual, is fantastic in what is easily one of the most enjoyable films of the year. Tom Holland stars as Nathan Drake in the film adaptation of the hit game series ‘Uncharted’. After being in production hell for around 15 years, the film finally has hit the big screen with a tonne of action – but was it worth the wait? Full thoughts in this episode

Serving as a direct sequel to the original 1974 release, 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' was finally released on Netflix over the weekend. The film includes the 'classic horror' elements you'd associate with Leatherface - it's just sadly everything else doesn't work. Full thoughts in this episode

In this 50th episode special, I thought I’d continue my revisit of the Star Wars saga – tackling another divisive trilogy amongst the fans; the Prequels. Jessica Chastain leads a batch of international agents as they attempt to retrieve a top secret weapon in this new spy action thriller, directed by Simon Kinberg. First episode of 2022! Back at it with yet another Disney+ show in 'Hawkeye', starring Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfield.
