A quick trip around some notes from football, softball, and men’s hoops before we talk outdoor concert venues and dispense old guy advice for the 4th. Go Dukes!

We hopefully have better luck with the IT part of this as we go through some leftover Softball praise and start to think about what this means for the future. Plus we look at the biggest summer stories for JMU Athletics (cough, 12-team playoff, cough) and try to think about how to build on this year's momentum.

We just try to say thank you to a team of young women that captured the softball world's hearts and made us prouder than ever to be Dukes. Every single one of you is a legend and we are so grateful for a few of the most purely fun weeks we've ever had as sports fans. Oh yeah, and one of us can barely hold it together.

What a weekend from JMU Softball! We look back at a fantastic performance to win the Knoxville regional by knocking out Tennessee and Liberty and look ahead to a golden opportunity to make the College World Series in a Super-Regional series at Missouri this week. Is JMU Softball really an SEC team in disguise? This "could" be the first of two episodes this week.

The Softball Show! We look back at one of the most impressive CAA seasons in JMU sports history and ahead to a challenging but very much possible road to the College World Series. Plus lax wrap and all of us need to settle down on the xfer freak out about football - it's a brave new world out there.

These are the weeks we all remember why we love Dukes so much! We suck all the marrow out of JMU’s takedown of UND, the Valley’s rough week, and the CAA’s surge. Then we look ahead to the Dukes trying to complete the first half of a Texas Two-Step at Sam Houston this week. Oh yeah, JMU softball is basically Thanos at this point too!
