Do you ever struggle with responding right to authority? I absolutely do! In fact, I had a wrong thinking of authority that God lovingly corrected. Listen in to the specific warning God gave me and the shifting in thinking that helped me view authority as more than a necessary evil.

You guys! God spoke to me through Leviticus! Not only did He encourage me as a homemaker, but he let me experience this multiple day Jesus time revealing a really cool connection to the Levitical priesthood. You’re gonna have to listen in to believe it!

“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in Him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13. It is incredible to me how digging into just a few words in one verse can make me explode with joy. I LOVE the lessons we learn from Luke 1 where Mary went to stay with Elizabeth after finding out she was pregnant. These women taught me so much about joy and freedom from expectations🙌🏽. Join me in rejoicing🎉

What do you want to be when you grow up? I know we were asked that as kids all the time, and it was the focus of my parenting early on. I know for a fact I stressed out my kids, and God lovingly intervened! Listen to what He says about how to think about that question🙌🏽

Does God’s sovereignty give you peace or freak you out? I think His heart was always to have that truth be life-giving for us. Ecclesiastes 7:13-14 have encouraging things to say about that!

What do you do when you hear cultural terms like toxic positivity? Sometimes I don’t know how to interact with our culture, so I bring it to my Jesus time. He had a lot to say🙌🏽

Do you ever want to escape your heart struggles instead of bringing them to Jesus? I do. But, listen to what happened when I went to Jesus instead of Candy Crush.

Have you ever been super justified in your bitterness? I thought I was, but God loving me showed me a thing or two😅

Where do you fall on the justice and mercy spectrum? I find myself moving up and down that spectrum from day to day. I am inconsistent but God is consistent. All His ways are right and He tells us exactly what He requires of us in action, heart, and posture.

Does reading New Testament make you feel far from God? I always struggled with feeling close to God when I read His law… until He show me something really cool!

Have you ever wondered HOW those who work in children’s homes do it 24 hours a day 365 days a year??? Why do good people suffer? That is the wrong question. Also, God does not owe us that answer. Job teaches us HOW to suffer. Listen in for a challenging and valuable lesson in suffering honestly with God.
