A visit on June 8, 2025 to two Hard Off stores, being Zama in Kanagawa and Hachioji in Tokyo! I could pick up a junk device that would allow for some lazy gaming!

Kind of like Hard Off but replace Hard with Book! Here I visited one in Zama, Kanagawa on June 8, 2025. I GOT AN A!

I took a bit of time to enjoy the sights at Book Market A-Too in Sakado, Saitama on June 1, 2025. You can gear up your game with Game Gear games! Perhaps you are interested in a very reasonably priced adapter to allow you to play Neo Geo games on your PC Engine Duo?

You never feel soft when at Hard Off! This time on June 1, 2025, I visited the one near the highway exit in Tsurugashima, Saitama. It had super expensive PC Engine games and relatively reasonable Sega Saturn games. And other stuff.

On the first day of the last month of the first half of 2025, I did indeed visit the Mandai Shoten in Kawagoe, Saitama! Did I buy a huge animation character bunny girl with molded genitalia? Did I take a chance to overpay for a PlayStation 5 game?

On a rainy May 30, 2025, I dashed around various places in Akihabara, Tokyo, including BEEP and the neighboring Surugaya! Here is a double shot describing some of the finds and buys at these places. I also almost slipped and fell comically.

Again I visited the Sunano mall branch of Surugaya in Koto ward of Tokyo on May 25, 2025. I thought it was in Toyosu all this time but oh well! You can get a complete boxed MSX cartridge for 1000 yen if you like golf! You can also overpay for AliExpress junk!

Oh, hello! On May 17, 2025, I went back to the little treasure of rarities that is the Hard Off store in Kuki, Saitama! Do you want to buy a $5000 Game Boy? How about a few old computers from Sega or NEC? Well go buy them here, why don't you?!

Another beautiful episode about another visit to the wonderful Surugaya in Utsunomiya, Tochigi! This time, on May 11, 2025, I bought 3060 yen of games which felt so good as 3000 yen purchases gives you 500 yen in discount AND free parking for 2 hours yesssssss

On May 5th of 2025, I could visit again the Koshigaya Minami branch of Hard Off in Koshigaya, Saitama! So much cheapness to be found in Nintendo cartridge games featuring grappling, and cheap Killing Time for 3DO!

On April 28, 2025, I visited the Book Market in Iwaki, Fukushima, which is supported by Surugaya. It is a nice little store and you can get AUDIO CDs. Also some 50 yen games.

On April 28, 2025, I visited the Hard Off store in the Taira section of Iwaki, Fukushima. It had some special nude software! Also someone made a Game Boy better.

The newest and worst Surugaya, located in the Higashimurayama AEON shopping mall in Tokyo, was visited on April 27, 2025! Very little to note other than TURB.

On April 14, 2025, I visited the Hard Off store in Tomisato city of Chiba! It has been a while and they had so much retro goodness including only the third time I have ever seen a working Atari 2800!

A brand new Hard Off store with nice smell but first I explain how I SPECTACULARLY ESCAPED CERTAIN DEATH! Then some stuff in the new Toride, Ibaraki branch, as visited on April 12, 2025.

Helloooooooo and this time I'll secribe a fun little store visited on April 6, 2025, being the Omiya Miyahara branch of Momotaro Kingdom in Saitama city! You can get the priciest Bonk ever or perhaps Gubble!

The second Hard Off in Saitama city visited on April 6, 2025, this is the Saitama Omiya Nishi branch! It has been so long for me to visit and going back, I can say it still is one of the least interesting Hard Off branches! But go if you like, I guess!

In the heart of Saitama city is the Saitama Kami Komachi branch of Hard Off! I visited on the 6th of April, 2025. Very much they do have disc software compatible with Sega consoles released between 1995 and 2001!

Back to visiting a Hard Off, and this is one that 20 years ago was full of junk cheap gaming goodness. Things were very different on March 30, 2025, however. The Hitachi, Ibaraki branch may hve fewer rare treasures but it does have some sort of unopened Chinese language Switch game!

Get your 100 yen coins and head to Otachu in Hitachi, Ibaraki! I did on March 30, 2025! Lots of 100 yen junk and cheap Super Famicom games! Plus used sneakers and watches or whatever the kids need to feel happy and fulfilled in life.

It is NOT a Hard Off as I return to the chain that fueled my dreams of gaming over 20 years ago. I wistfully revisited the Naka, Ibaraki branch of WonderGoo on March 30, 2025. The once powerful store now offers a powerful deal on 8bitdo!

WHAT? It is not a Hard Off? This time I talk about a visit to a kanteidan store on March 23, 2025. It's the Iruma branch of Guruguru Empire and you can get mint boxed Nintendo games on the cheap! You can also play a ten yen crane game to win gum!

A new Hard Off was visited on March 23, 2025! It opened just a week earlier in Zama, Kanagawa. It smelled good. Did I decide to find love on the Neo Geo Pocket or give an alligator a hammer to hit things?
