Into the great green north, this time it's a description of Mandai Shoten in Sendai city, Miyagi, visited in the waning days of July, 2025! Often visited but it's been a while; the crane games have increased but the game deals have not!

And here we again with the exotic Hard Off in Narashinodai in Funabashi, Chiba! Not in Narashino city, Chiba! Will the greatest deal in the history of retro gaming be found inside? THE ONLY WAY TO FIND OUT IS TO LISTEN!!!!!!!!!

Hey, it is the Momotaro Kingdom in Narashino, Chiba! Perhaps you like MSX games? Xbox stuff? Unfortunately there is no MSXbox stuff.

Ishikawa is not only the last name of a 90s J-Pop star mostly known in the west for animation theme songs, but it is also the name of a city in Chiba prefecture! I visited the Ono branch of Hard Off in that city again recently and you may now hear highlights of the gaming related items from that visit. Aren't you lucky?!

Another voyage to the Surugaya that graciously sold to me my first MSX machine. This time, I obtain a game at 1/3 cost because a Japanese person is not perfectly capable of entering English into an electronic sales system!

And now a talk of a visit to the always exotic Momotaro Kingdom in Kisarazu city of Chiba. Some things are cheap, and some are expensive, but (and please sit down or pull your car over for safety before experience the excitement of the remainder of the sentence) it has a glorious cassette tape-included special edition package of Athena for the Famicom!

One of the better Hard Off stores you can find! This episode is another visit to the branch in Kisarazu city of Chiba. Cheapest Guardian Heroes in decades so go get it and fill your Guardian Heroes shaped hole in your Saturn soul! Note not the same as Guardian War for 3DO!

Let's discuss a visit to the Surugaya in Ichihara city, Chiba! It's maybe the worst Surugaya but it is not awful and just any comparison must include an item that is least good!

Describing a bit of a visit to the Momotaro Kingdom where there is a fine selection of games, both modern and retro (at least as far back as Famicom and SG-1000)! Perhaps you would like to get a somewhat rare color Digimon?

Next up on the July 13, 2025 Chiba circuit drive was the Hard Off in the Oyumino section of Chiba city! What fun it was to laugh and sing some playing junk that night!

Continuing my Chiba prefecture circuit on July 13, 2025, I stop by the Yotsukaido city branch of Hard Off. Unfortunately the 3x3 Eyes Mega CD game was 10 times more expensive than expected, but I got a blue controller! It also had a piece of plastic used to pry apart your Nintendo 64!

On the 13th of July I made a fun round trip drive down the eastern half of Chiba prefecture, finding various electronic goodies. The first stop was the Oji branch of Hard Off in Sakura city. I picked up a new Raspberry Pi for some amusement and also other stuff! I didn't get a pretty Playdia or the cheapest 3DO memory unit I have ever seen!

There is always a value to be found at the Surugaya store in Machida city of Tokyo, and I visited it on July 6, 2025! I wish I didn't already have Fighting Street because the first ever Street Fighter game was somehow in 2025 available at the cheapest ever price I have seen!

This fun little Hard Off was visited on July 6, 2025! The Yabe branch in Sagamihara city, Kanagawa had what seemed to be the remnants of someone's well-loved PC Engine and Neo Geo Pocket collections! And why would someone pay over 5000 yen for the crappy The C64 joystick?

On July 5, 2025, I visited the Kashiwa branch of Surugaya! At that time and at the time of posting this episode, Kashiwa Reysol are in the top position of Japan's J1 professional soccer league!

On the 30th of June, 2025, I paid a visit to the Surugaya store located in the Fashion Cruise shopping center in Hitachinaka city of Ibaraki! You should go as you certainly need N64DD rarities and 3DO pornography!

On June 29, 2025, I visited a certain Hard Off for the first time in a long long long long long long long long long long long long long long time. It is the Kami Aoki branch in Kawaguchi, Saitama, and it had gaming stuff. Plus advice on how not to fall for a Hard Off sneaky trick!long long

Again it is a visit to the EnterKing in Adachi ward of Tokyo! This is a report of a visit from June 29 of 2025. Hey... Why aren't some stores called EnterQueen? I'd much rather enter a queen than a king... For shopping? For games?

If my memory serves the third best Hard Off in Kasukabe, Saitama, this is the one on Route 16 near Noda city as visited on June 16, 2025! Cheap Saturn stuff! Memories of Famicom shops! Cheap yet crappy Super Famicom fighting games!

On June 8, 2025 I could see a beautiful 3DO and it was oh so lovely. At the Sagamihara, Kanagawa Momotaro Kingdom you can get lots of good PC Engine stuff too other than what I already bought which is now gone as it has already been acquired by myself!
