It’s Not Even Like That is a comedic podcast that examines how the media depicts disability and smacks it in the face with a dose of reality. What is it like to be disabled? Judging from TV and film, disabled people are: angry, depressed, non-sexual, and pitiful. Or they’re portrayed as childlike, magical beings whose sole purpose is to inspire and remind non-disabled folks to appreciate what they have.
