We followed...something...I don't know anymore...to 1985's House! our minds may be mush, but we are still more coherent than this film.

We....uh....followed Erik's theme of dreamlike television movie to 1985's "The Peanut Butter Solution" and...hmmm...we're sorry?

We followed the theme of "revenge/made in Japan" to 1977's House/Hausu. It's the highest concentration of pure 1977 that we've been able to source.

We followed Eiji Okada to 1973's Lady Snowblood! Holy shit!

We followed Bernard Fresson to 1959's Hiroshima Mon Amour (Alain Resnais) and though if you blink you'll miss him, we are thrilled that we ended up here.

We followed Isabelle Adjani to another euro-thriller-weirdo flick, 1976's The Tenant! Paris has never looked so unromantic!

We followed Margit Carstensen to 1981's Possession and we may never be the same again.

We followed phenomenal cinematographer Michael Ballhaus to The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant (1972) directed by Rainer Werner Fassbinder and OH BOY did we dig it! Huge apologies for Erik's near constant hacking. No amount of gin would help.

We're back with a BANG! with Martin Scorsese's 1985 classic "After Hours" because we all think that Griffin Dunne is "the world's biggest cutie-pie". It's our first episode of Chain Reaction: Open Season, which means we can go absolutely anywhere! We hope you'll join us.

We close out our "holiday Harts" capsule with the crown jewel of Christmas episodes, "Tis the Season to Be Murdered" starring a small wooden(?) fighter pilot who was READY for his close-up.

Wouldn't a season or two (or ten) of Harts Investigations, where Jennifer and a retired Jonathan Hart run an LA detective agency, Max and Freeway always around the office, finally putting their talents to use for people who aren't there friends? Ahh well, one can dream. Oh, and we watched this shitty episode of Moonlighting.

We dip back into "A Christmas Hart" for our little holiday capsule and we realize that there are riches yet to be mined from maybe every episode of Hart to Hart??

It's Holiday Hart season! Our first episode in this capsule is "Long Lost Love" from season 5 of Hart to Hart. You know when people say "last but not least"? This one is "least but not last".

We followed...uh...dead people talking? I'm a little fuzzy on the link, but regardless, we watched An American Werewolf in London! This is the end of our first official "spooky edition" of chain reaction, so listen up to find out our next move! (hint: it's got Hart to Hart in it)

We followed "vampires" to Park Chan-Wook's Thirst. If we can offer you any advice before watching this film, it is to watch it all at once and in linear order. It helps.

We followed Rod Loomis to Quantum Leap Season 5:Episode 15 "Blood Moon" and why? Why you ask? I honestly don't know. But I think it was to remind us of how bonkers the theme song is.

We followed Chris Mulkey to 1988's Jack's Back. Mileage may vary.

SPOILER ALERT!!! We spoil all of this 30 year old TV show, so if you're concerned about finding out what happens in Twin Peaks, please watch the whole thing before listening to us blather on and on about it for two fucking hours.

We followed Fairuza Balk to 1985's Return to Oz. I'm starting to think that Memnoch doesn't like us very much.

We followed David Duchovny to The Craft: Legacy because Memnoch the Wheel told us to and we aren't allowed to disobey him.

Spooky season continues with one of the best episodes of The X-Files (and television in general) "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose". Listen to us gush and find out what spooky stuff we're getting into next!

It's spooky season (our favorite) so why not do another edition of Chain Reaction: Spooky Edition!!! We start ourselves off with the classic H2H episode "Night Horrors", a riff on an Agatha Christie-like locked door mystery complete with a psychic, a mystery novelist, and g-g-g-ghosts!!! We also talk for exactly 5 minutes about A Haunting in Venice. We don't spoil it, I promise.

Our final final episode of Hart Girl Summer honors the wonderful Shelley Smith as Marina Belson in "Downhill to Death". We loved returning to Vail with the nosy ass Harts, even if there is a bit too much chatter (and mumbling) in the sauna. Also, we reveal our plans for the next season!

In our last official episode of Hart Girl Summer, we celebrate Karen Shields (Karen Austin) in "A New Kind of High". Borrow a wig and meet us at the car room with different weathers.

This week, we celebrate the incomparable Julie Newmar as "Eve" in Change of Hart"! We go a little long because we had to talk about sports for a while. No, really. Why are you laughing??
