Philippians 4:10-23 / Kam Pugh The secret to true contentment, as Kam teaches us through the end of Philippians 4, can be found in Christ. Even for Christians, contentment is unnatural, but must be learned and pursued through trusting in Jesus to fulfill us and meet our needs.

As an adopted father of an orphan himself, Gavin encourages us to fulfill God’s commands to take care of the fatherless, and seek an active role in God’s plan to love orphans.

Philippians 1:19-30 / Kameron Pugh Kam asks us to consider this week what our lives are all about. Paul proclaims for himself that "to live is Christ, and to die is gain." He is determined to live for what lasts, not for earthly pursuits that will never satisfy. Our desires did not die for us, but Jesus did, and that makes Him worth living for.

Philippians 1 :12-18 / Gavin King Gavin King returns to Iron City this week to preach about joy.  He draws on references throughout scripture and discusses Paul's experience in captivity to emphasize that God should be the source of our joy.  Happiness can be taken away, but as long as joy is defined not by our situation but by our Savior, our spirits cannot be shaken.
